The facility was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It was refreshing to just walk through the building. The breakfast was actually better than expected for a hotel. When we return we will definitely be staying there again.

I was able to get a room right by the family I was meeting there. Staff was super helpful with places to eat (over a holiday weekend) and things I had apparently NOT packed. Absolutely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Plenty of towels.

The food was excellent, room was very comfortable, very close to the Promise play and the Fossil Rim Safari & Dinosaur tracks, the pool was nice and warm, but most of all, Jenny (the hostess) was the very most friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond in every way, including our special requests. In 45 years of traveling and staying at hotels, she was by far the best hostess period!

Lovely place! Great escape just 90 mins from Dallas. A lot of activities for kids and for adults. Kids Ranch is amazing to leave the kids supervised while you enjoy a little break.

Our room was very cozy and comfortable. Bathroom shower was walk in and well appointed. Location and parking were very convenient and breakfast was tasty. It was a perfect choice for us.

We recently stayed at Country Woods Inn with our family and had a truly wonderful experience. The kids were absolutely thrilled to sleep in an Airstream — that alone made it feel like a special adventure from the moment we arrived. What really made the stay unforgettable was how close the animals were. Having a donkey and two horses right outside our Airstream was something the kids could not get enough of, and being able to feed the animals around the farm was a highlight for them. The Airstream was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. While the weather didn't cooperate enough for us to fully enjoy the outdoor area next to the Airstream, the overall experience more than made up for it — and honestly it just gives us a great reason to come back on a sunnier day! 😊 Breakfast was amazing, and we loved that the team put so much thought into activities for the kids over the Easter weekend. Highly recommend Country Woods Inn to any family looking for a unique, memorable escape not too far from home. 🐴

Breakfast was very good and made fresh! Pam was an awesome person to deal with there and she is a great person, very accommodating. Room was clean and bed was comfortable with nice sheets. Location is great too. Recommend staying at her place!
