The Food was very good. rooms were big, comfortable, great friendly and accommodating staff. Great value. Comfortable sofa to watch on one of the 2 TVs and a swivel rocker.

The reason we went to Goldendale was to attend the evening...
The reason we went to Goldendale was to attend the evening class at the observatory. That visit was exceptional even though there was too much cloud cover to see the moon and planets. The park ranger made the classroom discussion very interesting and informative even though the viewing was a bust.

The St John's Bakery and Restaurant was very good.
The St John's Bakery and Restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the Presby Museum in town as well as the local Farmer's market which had produce, crafts and plants. The Goldendale Observatory was interesting and they also have nice hiking trails on the grounds.

Though it's a small town, the views are remarkable.
Though it's a small town, the views are remarkable. Maryhill museum, Maryhill park, are both really close. There are a couple of restaurants and some small downtown area to walk around. Nights are cool in the summer too.

It's an economically rising area with a lot of space.
It's an economically rising area with a lot of space. An interesting countryside. A very nice downtown area with at least a couple of good restaurants and a nice friendly bar. Maybe two.
A really nice museum that is worth spending a half a day, at least, looking over the great collection of local history.

We stayed in Goldendale to break up a longer trip to...
We stayed in Goldendale to break up a longer trip to Ellensburg, which we needed to be by 10am the next morning. It's about a 6 hour drive from our home to Ellensburg.
We didn't really do anything in Goldendale except go to the hotel, walk next door to McDonalds for a bite to eat (very convenient; really clean McDonalds) and then just relax in the room.

Nothing fancy but good basic, clean motel. Bed was comfortable and the location was convenient to the Goldendale Observatory and nearby scenic route to Mt. Adams. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The continental breakfast was much more than expected and even included a couple of hot items. One of the other guests was gushing over the waffles. Nice size refrigerator and microwave in the room. We liked it enough to book it again for another trip in the fall to the Columbia Gorge and Goldendale Observatory.

I love this place! Location is good. Staff was professional, welcoming and nice. Check in/out were easy. The room was super clean, spacious and nice. Bed was comfortable and sheets super soft. The breakfast is the best I ever had in motels/hotels/inns.

I enjoyed my one night stay here. The room is clean and comfortable. Very quiet also.
My favorite part was the breakfast. One of the best motel breakfast that I have had.
Goldendale is a very nice small town.

Nice quiet environment. Comfortable bed, clean room and great view of Mt Adams. Very convenient place to stay while visiting my daughter.
