They provide a little travel bowl, bone, and bag for the doggies, which was super cute and very useful! The property is very clean with a nice lobby and comfy beds.

Arrived to property and check in.

Arrived to property and check in. Outside our door 2 men were smoking pot, in the driveway 2 very young ladies were dropped off. Both were high on alcohol and drugs, one needed help up the stairs. They were met with a large gangster looking man who escorted them into his room. All night doors opening and partying.

Hermiston has always been a good getaway for me interacting...

Hermiston has always been a good getaway for me interacting with the police doesn't scare me here like it does where I live at you have to watch out for them like they're gangbangers on rampage. I love that the hotels are near everything shopping food slot machines parks all kinds of business can I go walk around easily from one to the other. Every time I come shopping at Walmart when I'm done I sit across the street and kind of people watch I saw homeless man sitting there gave him some food it was very grateful if you minutes later I got a call that my daughter had passed away and he came over and asked me if I was okay. And to talk if I needed to. I seem to people come up to him and offer him a whole set up a nice tent and sleeping bag and some food it seemed to be very random in quite sure that he didn't know them or just seemed like a very precious paid it forward a moment. Another time I ended up stranded the car troubles late at night I had to sit outside the Taco Bell for hours and another homeless man off of just sit with me until I had a ride meanwhile his friend went somewhere in return very warm coat and put it my shoulders it was much needed I was freezing. It seems like despite their struggles in lack of resources these people haven't let the unfortunate blows of life turn them bitter. I appreciate that 100%. I really love Hermiston and plan on moving here one day

Went for Rock the Locks in Umatilla.

Went for Rock the Locks in Umatilla. Short drive and gave us a place to retreat to. Lots of name businesses for your needs (Safeway, Depot, Harbor Freight, Dollar Tree, etc) so no lack of coffee and food!!!

If you are looking for a cheap place, Motel6 is suitable for a quick stay. This location appears to be used my laborers and trades people and young families. for a pleasant stay during a vacation, this will not meet the requirements.

I love the growth of Hermiston and quality of the choices of...

I love the growth of Hermiston and quality of the choices of new businesses. I lived there in the late 70's and it's still a friendly town with some great and awesome people. There's a cafe on main street with the best breakfast thats been there I at least over 70 years, but I believe more likely over 90. Sheri's is a good all night restaurant and I had one of the best club sandwich's I have had in quite awhile. Plus great pie..

Hermiston is a nice little country town , I especially love...

Hermiston is a nice little country town , I especially love the country animal vet hospital. My dogs both were in critical care and the country animal hospital went way above and beyond for my dogs. I gladly travel from Washington to Hermiston just for their excellent vet service.

Convenient, comfortable, close to what I needed. A pleasant & efficient young lady checked me in. The shower was very good - there was no need to hunch down under a water nozzle coming out of the tiles at less than 6' high like at some hotels, & with good pressure & hot water. The bed felt initially soft but was quite comfy. The TV actually worked. Parking was ample. Pity about the pool being covered & closed. It was only a short walk (.4 miles) to an ok brewpub & restaurant.

It's a really nice hotel, nice and clean. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. It's always nice when there is free coffee, tea, chocolate and cookies when arriving at a hotel after a long day on the road
