Location was walking distance from Hermosa Pier (18 min) for a nice bike ride along the strand.

THE BATH TUB in the balcony with an amazing marina view was phenomenal. Entire staff crews were incredibly friendly and attentive.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the center of the pedestrian zone of downtown Manhattan Beach. The staff is amazing and they said yes to every request with a smile. I had one of the new remodeled rooms and it has been redone with a ton of style so ask for one of those rooms if possible.

It was really clean the staff was nice and it was so comfortable plus the breakfast was really good I’m really satisfied with staying in this hotel definitely will be booking again :)

The hotel was excellent—great staff, top-notch service, and exceptional cleanliness. The location was fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to the ocean, with everything you need nearby.

Absolutely FIRST CLASS experience all around. We are so happy that we chose this place to stay for our short holiday. Communication was great via Booking. Once we arrived, service was stellar from both the manager and staff, including the cleaning staff. Everyone was kind, helpful, and also helped us sort out parking and some other last minute issues that came up which could have ruined the trip. They were just amazing to us. Place itself was very quiet, located right near the beach and all the places you want to go, but just far enough away to not be a nuisance. Really was amazing. We were in the middle of the beach clubs, restaurants, main road etc., and yet both the hotel and our room and even the top floor patio was quiet and felt really safe. Top floor patio area was 5-Star awesome. Super clean, luxurious, amazing. Lots of chairs, couches, several fireplaces, gorgeous views from every angle. The price was worth it just for this. Room was spectacularly clean, not a speck of dust. Bedding was super clean and comfy, beds gave us a perfect night's sleep. Couldn't ask for more. Location was right near anything and everything, couldn't ask for more. Truth is, we can't wait to go again, and are looking into local events so we can have an excuse to come stay here again, but for longer this time. Best of the best! I travel more than 50 times a year (often much more) for work and live gigs, and this hotel and experience is now in my Top 3. Thank you to everyone at SW Beach Hotel for making everything so perfect for us! :)

Always beautiful, calm, and clean.

The location was perfect for our family — we biked along the path, relaxed on the beach, and explored the beautiful boardwalk and pier. The environment was lively yet relaxing. Even better than the setting was the staff. Everyone we encountered, from the valet to the servers to housekeeping, was warm and welcoming. There was a mix-up on my part, but the young gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind and professional in helping resolve it. We hope to stay here again soon.
