Check-in was fast and easy! Love that it was right on the water! Walked next-door and had a drink in an appetizer. Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere all around. I also like the fact that we could go for a walk first thing in the morning down to the pier and along the channel. Felt totally safe.

The property was in an excellent location. We traveled to visit cedar point and it was a short 15-20 minute drive. It was a very nice town, but everything closed at 10pm. Property was clean and everything we could ask for.

Lots of room. It can be an excellent location for kids and groups. The pool was closed, but the hot tub was working. They have one of the best working fireplaces I have seen. There are a lot of towels and extra sheets around. The kitchen equipment is sufficient for a small group.

Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom had a large shower, and great water pressure! We requested a "high/quiet" room, which they did accommodate, which was really nice after a long day of being on the road. The property as a whole was very clean, and the staff upon arrival was very attentive and kind.

If you want to spend $400 a night to stay in a run-down old...

If you want to spend $400 a night to stay in a run-down old house without a working tv or internet access and staff who don't seem to understand what the internet is or all of the everyday things that it's used for, this is the place for you! Do you enjoy repeatedly leaving messages asking about the wi-fi, just to be talked down to, insulted, and sweared at when you try to explain that internet connection is not the same thing as a tv? Do you like the smell of mildew? Does the sound of the flooring bubbling and crunching loudly under your feet as you shower put you at ease? If you're looking for the comfort level and amenities of tent camping, then you'll just love this over-priced, under-maintained, poorly staffed property.

Huron is a very nice, clean community with a multitude of...

Huron is a very nice, clean community with a multitude of options to spend time along their sandy beaches. Would go back without hesitation, which I probably will as my wife says its her new best place to visit. Lodging is very accommodating and affordable.

The price and living area of room was ok. The tub was dirty and I had no soap. Had to ask for some at desk. Not enough towels in room either. BUt the value was ok. Needs some improvements to give a higher rate.

Hotel was on the water with easy access for walleye fishing.

Hotel was on the water with easy access for walleye fishing. Was clean and comfortable and looks like hotel was in the process of getting some updates. Had 2 nice visiting areas if you were travelling with a group. We only spent the night and devoted the time to fishing so it worked well for our needs.

Wonderful area.

Wonderful area. Restaurants, shops, the light house Pier, lots of areas to walk. Quiet evenings to sit in a swing on the river or a bench at the Pier. Free live bands all summer! Always something to do or not do if you would prefer a laid back experience.

Great location.

Great location. We visited just off the busy season but enjoyed the amenities this property offered. Would be cool to be able to more easily access the outside deck to the channel for breakfast. I went for a walk just a short distance to the pier ro watch boats entering Lake Erie

We love the location that's on the river edge. It's why we chose to stay there. It's a basic hotel, with basic room and breakfast. Clean, comfortable, warm - good value for money. We loved the (cold) walks around the hotel at night and early morning. Beautiful location. We couldn't stop taking photos. There was a big parking space in front that was really convenient.

Hotel is right on the lake. Nice walk down the pier. Indoor pool was nice too. The restaurant right next door was good and open til 9. There's a beach in walking distance and other eateries in walking distance, although it is quiet when it's not in season.

Very close to cedar point about 10 min drive. Down the road so ideal if on park hotels are expensive. Good selection of quick eats right by the hotel as well
