The whole place was clean and quiet. The beds were wonderful. The pool was heavily chlorinated, but you have to expect that

We had a suite with a jet-tub overlooking the pool below and it was perfect for a family meeting place especially with great grandkids! It was a total hit with everyone!

Staying at the Villa's was a very good choice. I stayed 4 nights. It is a very quiet area outside of Nauvoo. A great place to stay if visiting the sites of old Nauvoo. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was set up very nicely, and I ate my breakfast and dinner in the room Lots of channels available on their cable. If I'm ever in Nauvoo again this is my go to place.

Where to begin? It was one of the best B&Bs we've EVER stayed in. Everything was perfect! The hostess, the rooms, the beds, the breakfasts, everything. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and will stay again if ever in Nauvoo.

What Guests Said About Keokuk:

Keokuk was larger than I thought.

Keokuk was larger than I thought. Really enjoyed visiting the lock and dam after watching the live camera online. If you want to bypass the stop lights and traffic on Main, there are two streets a couple blocks North East of Main, High street runs one-way to the Northwest and Circuit Street runs one-way to the South East.

The attendant woke me up in the middle of the night and...

The attendant woke me up in the middle of the night and demanded that he get access to the room to change the batteries in the door lock , I refused and he called the room phone of which I could hardly understand his poor English, further the sheets were dirty, only one towel and the carpet in the room was sticky generally the poorest experience that we have had in 40 years of travel and I would rate the equivalence of a hotel in a third world country.

Keokuk is a great small city to stay at...

Keokuk is a great small city to stay at...I was there for Geode Fest 2022, which the Department of Tourism hosts each year now. There is a good selection of lodging with hotels, motels, and camping facilities in and around Keokuk, and several great dining locations too. A few of the dining businesses were affected by food shortage problems during this year`s event, which seemed to bother some people. I dined 2 nights at Angellini`s Italian Restaurant on Main Street, the food there is great and the atmosphere and customer service are over the top in my humble opinion. It is extremely tough to go to dinner in the evening until about 8 pm much of the time, and reservations are a must for that, but don`t expect to be sat right away when you arrive at 8 pm, you will likely still have to wait at most places 30 to 45 minutes after you arrive. That is how busy the bigger places can and will be. The food is normally worth the wait tho.

Beautiful Historic City. Hope some residents maintain the beauty of their historic homes by fixing them to preserve and maintained their home. For the next generation to come, explore and enjoy! Thanks!

The staff was very friendly. I appreciated being able to grab a complimentary bottle of water at night when we came in. Breakfast having variety each day was a positive. Good amount of parking for the hotel size. Most of all it was very clean and that is my top priority at a hotel and I scrutinize my space immediately when I check in.

Very clean, quiet. Everything you need, comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, tv, internet clean towels, no stains. Close to HyVee and WalMart. And very easy to find. Good location. The only hotel we will stay at in Keokuk. The only thing missing was a coffee maker, but I bought a small one with me.

It was quite and easy to get a trailer around. The front desk lady is super duper nice! Prob the fastest book in a hotel/motel I’ve experienced. They allowed dogs as well and they had a nice area for them.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was standard for this brand of hotel. We didn't eat the continental style but seemed like others enjoyed it.
