Great location. Walking distance to many fine establishments and, of course, the beach. Very friendly locals. Good food just a block away. The bathrooms were outfitted with more amenities and comforts than expected, including towels, shampoo, and other items you may have forgotten. Owners have everything very well set up for whatever adventure we are on.

Harbor Inn in Algoma was wonderful. The location is perfect. Water view with bar/restaurant with live music right across the street. An amazing bakery and deli is within easy walking distance. The room was immaculate. Everyone I encountered from front desk check in to housekeeping on check out were friendly, kind and willing to go the extra mile to make an excellent travel experience.

I didn't get to stay long, I was here for a Salmon and Trout charter fishing trip. Seems like a quaint town. The water is very picturesque with good photo opportunities. Seems like there's a bit of history here to check out. Marina was nice, next time I will stay a bit longer to check things out.

Only stayed for a few days.

Only stayed for a few days. Spent most of my time in Algoma which is approximately 12 miles from Kewaunee as I was there to attend my son's wedding in Algoma. I was able to visit a few local taverns near my Hotel. The people I talked to were friendly at both establishments and easy to talk to. I also ate a late meal at one of the bars ordering a steak sandwich and fries which was very good tasting. I wish I could of spent more time in the area and visited more businesses and local sites? Overall I enjoyed my short stay in Kewaunee. I wish I could have spent more time in area visiting local businesses and sites.

This is a nice small town with a harbor, fishing charters, a family restaurant, taverns, in-town and nearby supper clubs, cheese store, bakery, used book store and a grocery store. If you like history, there is a good history museum at the old courthouse and a historical society downtown. There is a lighthouse at the end of a quarter-mile breakwater that makes for a nice walk along the waters of Lake Michigan along with a lakeside park. The southeast end of the Ahnapee Trail is right downtown. I have a lot of family and friends in Kewaunee so I always enjoy my visits.
