Key West has a lot of culture and history to provide things to do during your stay. One trip we walked everywhere and another we rented a golf cart. Live music at almost every bar. Food options are endless including upscale Italian and street food trucks. Be ready to get your drank on! Simply walking Duval, at all times of the day, is entertaining in itself.

I love Key West. I enjoy being able to walk to any location.

I love Key West. I enjoy being able to walk to any location. Plenty of good food & drink. I have many favorites by Mallory Square, on Duval and up by the buoy. Its just a great place to visit. I stay at the Light House Hotel which is right across the street from Hemingway's house. Down the street is Truman's house. Lots to see and do. Don't miss Sunset Key for a great eating experience.

Key West was an exciting place to visit with lots to see and do. It was very artsy and whimsical, and had great eats and shopping. The swimming and snorkeling are usually amazing. The only downside to when we were there was the overwhelming presence of sargassum (seaweed). There was too much on the beach and in the water, and the smell was really unbearable. I am really not sure how to know when the seaweed arrives? Other than that, we had an amazing time.

The hotel itself is an historic building and the room with two queen beds with shower and toilet was large enough for our family of three. The breakfast by the pool bar was a well presented buffet and enough to prepare us for a busy day exploring Key West and and a fifteen minute walk to the Yankee Freedom ferry for transportation to the Dry Tortugas National Park. Free car parking is easily located outside or in the immediate area next to the hotel.

The hotel itself is in an ok location, but on a busy road during the day and you generally have to drive to get anywhere or any decent food. The room was clean and the hotel service staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small for a family of 5. Felt on top of each other. A lot of money for what you get when hotels down the road were cheaper and had a lot more to offer.

Great hotel with large room. Location is quite far out of the centre of Key West but there is a shuttle bus to take you in and bring you back. Lovely pool and very close to the oceanfront. Some planes overhead due to proximity to airport but didn't bother us and didn't hear them overnight. A great base to explore Key West.
