Being near Wiers Beach was great and also close to other...
Being near Wiers Beach was great and also close to other locations. We were there for a concert at Bank NH Pavilion and chose to stay an extra day for sightseeing. What a beautiful area and thankfully the weather was perfect while we there.

We love coming to this area and have been coming since I was a child. There is a lot to do and see in this area. We’ve been going to the Bank of NH pavilion the last few years and it’s a great place. From our hotel in Laconia it took less than 15 minutes to get to.
Getting around Laconia is easy. Great views.

The hotel was very good.
The hotel was very good. It surpassed our expectations since other reviewers rated it so it received a 7.7 score. This is unfair. The rooms are clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The bathroom, however, is a bit tight. Common rooms had gracious space and the location of the hotel in the center of time is excellent. Plus we had a beautiful view from our room. We do not understand the mediocre rating given this hotel.

Laconia is a great location on Lake Winnipesaukee with easy access to Lincoln, Mt. Washington and Conway. My husband is a ham radio operator and he was able to make several POTA (Parks on the Air) activations while in Laconia. We also drove up the Mt. Washington auto road so that he could activate a SOTA (Summits on the Air). Lots to do in the area!

Hello! Laconia was beautiful as always! My niece Kaitlin and I stayed at the Birch Knoll Hotel this was our first time staying there. We had stayed in different hotels before when we came down from Maine for concerts! But now since we have discovered the Birch Knoll Hotel! Well we will definitely be going back there to stay.. everything was perfect! And the owners were so nice and helpful! And omg those comfy beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. ☁️☁️ Thank you again! Kelly

The only window in the room was sealed shut.
The only window in the room was sealed shut. Had there been a fire and no escape through the hallway, no other way to get out. Also, there is rubber padding around the entrance to the hot tub. There isn’t to the entrance to the pool. The tile is extremely slippery. When I exited the pool to walk to the hot tub, I slipped and fell, hitting my head. I went to the front desk to let them know so maybe they would remedy the situation. They did ask if I would like to file an incident report and I told them no. I just wanted them to be aware so they could look further in to a possible fix before someone else gets hurt. Oh

I do not understand why past reviews of this hotel were somewhat negative. It is clean, comfortable with excellent in town location. The common rooms are light and spacious. The bedrooms are also bright and spacious. The bathrooms are a bit tight. Previous reviews scored this hotel at 7 whcih is definitely not correct.
