I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and overall exceeded my expectations — but what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my Apple Watch in the room. To my surprise, the hotel called me first thing the next morning to let me know they found it. They walked me through exactly what I needed to do to have it picked up and shipped back to me, and they handled everything with so much care. When the package arrived, it was carefully packed and secure, clearly handled with attention and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. I’m so grateful for their honesty and dedication. It’s rare to see this level of genuine hospitality, and it made my experience truly stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again!

The property is very clean, close to restaurants and shopping, not far from downtown and local events and very convenient to all local areas. The rooms are very clean and the layout of the hotel is very comfortable. The floorplan was very important to me and my service dog as I am 100% disabled. Also, the swimming pool is very accessible. The establishment did not have the fountain running outside at this time, but I have stayed here several times and it is beautiful when they are running the fountain with the lights. I have never taken this much time for a review and recommend this establishment to family and friends.

The bed creaked everytime I got up to use the rest room.

The bed creaked everytime I got up to use the rest room. It was way to soft. There was no water pressure. When I got in to shower, it was slippery from not being washed out. I nearly fell from slipping. The door had at least a 1-2 inch opening on the right side and looked like it had been pried open. The outside of the door was missing pain where someone tried to open the door. I did not feel safe at all. It was very disappointing. I will not book through Booking again as it was $100 night Quality Inn. It was not Quality at all. I wish I'd taken pictures. I was only hoping for 1 good night sleep before traveling the next day.

Visited some old friends for a couple days.

Visited some old friends for a couple days. Went to 3 decent restaurants in the area. Ramshackles, Boondocks and Ski beach bar and grill. All had great food. Waitress at Ski bar had "an attitude".

Absolute worst hotel ever stayed at.

Absolute worst hotel ever stayed at. Sheets were dirty, hair in the blankets and the entire room smelled like an ash tray! We asked to get our money back because we could not stay there and they would not refund us awful experience!!!

I had a very difficult time finding the hotel but once there...

I had a very difficult time finding the hotel but once there, I loved the bed and plenty of pillows and the thick bedspread. This is the first time I can remember that I didn't have to ask for a blanket. Everything in my room was spotless and new looking. I didn't actually leave the hotel because I didn't want to leave my cat. I'm sure the trip was quite stressful for her, since she was staying in a large carrier in a strange place, so I very much appreciated the microwave and fridge.

The facilities and parking at Venetian Gardens and Beach...

The facilities and parking at Venetian Gardens and Beach were great. A little water standing in the grass parking area due to rain. It might could be addressed with some added fill material/dirt in the low spots. Very good lighting around the boat ramp and sidewalks!! Staff present to assist with parking in the early morning were very helpful!! Overall a very good location and experience!!!

The location was great.It was eighteen miles I think to Mt. Dora, right there in Leesburg, great location.. The place was clean, very stocked.Kitchen as far as pots pans dishes cleaning supplies extra towels.It was fabulous.
