CanadaGreat place! The room was renovated and the staff was super nice expect the cleaning man/lady try to come in the room before check out at 11am. The manager Ryan and the other staff was great, left my bag of chargers there and they email me to let me know they will have it for me whenever I can pick it up so hopefully it is still there.

Plenty to see and do in Lockport and its surrounding areas.
Plenty to see and do in Lockport and its surrounding areas. Historic Canal Locks including the original "Flight of Five" Locks, Canal boat rides. Great foods at Famous Reid's Hotdog Stand, Widewaters Grill, The Fieldstone Inn, Cammarata's, Laport's Diner, and many morre. Lockport also has pretty robust night life featuring live music at most venues. When in season, the Niagara area can't be beat for local produce. To be found almost anywhere you drive in the area. Hiller's produce in Newfane is a local favorite for locally grown sweet corn. The towns of Wilson and Olcott on Lake Ontario's shorelines also have a lot to offer in the summer. Lastly TONS of shopping to be had on Transit Rd. (Rt.78). If you can't find what you're looking for, it doesn't exist!

There was nothing I liked about Hilton at Lockport!
There was nothing I liked about Hilton at Lockport! Why it was even open during renovations was beside me. And the curb appeal was horrible along with the breakfast. Will NOT be.staying there again and will not recommend to family or friends.

The main attraction is the Erie Barge Canal., locks 34 & 35.
The main attraction is the Erie Barge Canal., locks 34 & 35.Get up close and personal. The newly dedicated statues of the "Lock Tenders Tribute" are beautiful. Take a boat trip through the locks. You can take day trips to Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario from Lockport. When you return from your wanderings, enjoy delicious treats from " Lake Effect Ice Cream " located next to the canal.

This hotel is under renovation, there was nothing telling me...
This hotel is under renovation, there was nothing telling me this before arriving. Everything is disrupted or closed, pool, workout room, workers everywhere, noisy, radios blaring music. I can’t believe they are open while all of this is going on. Needed to stay a second night but ended up checking out at 5 pm and not staying. Offered no explanation, no apology, no refund, guy checking me out was nice but had no idea how to use the computer, took him 30 minutes poking around the computer and a call and texts to his boss, but still couldn’t check me out. This should not happen and other people need to be aware this hotel is not fully functional. Rooms should be at a very discounted rate if they choose to be open during construction and this should be fully disclosed.

It's all so beautiful, and the cuisine was fantastic.
It's all so beautiful, and the cuisine was fantastic. We had dinner at Shamus's and it was super. The staff were all so friendly and accomodating. Great to get around, we were on motorcycles so that means a lot.

We only had a short stay in the town.
We only had a short stay in the town. We did eat dinner at the Pot O Gold Bar and Grill. The food was very good, especially the Corn Chowder and Buffalo Shrimp. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming.

We were visiting family in Gasport / Lockport, so the location was ideal. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Staying here felt like a very authentic American experience. The room was large and very quiet. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Lots of free parking outside the room. The hotel is close enough to walk to and along the Erie Canal, though there didn't seem to be many people walking!

We asked for a recommendation for a place to eat and were given the name of a restaurant in Lockport near the canal. We really enjoyed the meal at Stooges, and then we were close enough to walk down to the locks.

We like everything about the Lockport Inn. This is a family owned facility and whenever we visit Lockport we will always stay here. The owners and his family are some of the nicest people we've ever met.
