The views of the Navesink River are incredible, it’s a small enough hotel to where it feels intimate and comfortable, the rooms are also very nice sized and generous you don’t feel crammed in - the lobby is super warm. It’s got a beautiful glass elevator and everywhere you look it’s crisp and got a modern yet warm vibe and is beautifully decorated - the staff is amazing. We’ve got a lot of history there. We actually spent our wedding night there, got engaged there and every time we go, we’re reminded of how much we love it and it feels like a home away from home!!! ❤️

Long Branch has a lot of potential but the crowds of people...
Long Branch has a lot of potential but the crowds of people who use the beach are not very caring of their environment ... leaving trash everywhere once they had finished their day on the beach.
The one afternoon there were hundreds of students wandering around causing trouble and the police had to be called in to get control of the situation. According to the locals - these were not local kids but a social media organised mob to cause trouble ... so maybe this was a once off?
The Avenue restaurant and Serena restaurant were our favorite places to eat when we were there.

The house was very close to the beach with the boardwalk a short 2 block walk to Pier Village which was filled with shops and things to eat and drink (restaurants and bars). The beach in Long Branch is big with lots of clean sand and seems to go on forever down the coast. A 2 or 3 day stay would be worthy, for sure.

Love the restaurants and the pier. We come every year!! We love the Tiki Var at Ocean Place. Love the Paella at The Avenue! Love the chocolate at the chocolate shop. The Greek restaurant is amazing! We go to ahold gym which is great and have Playa Bowl after. LOVE all the shops!!!

I should want to recommend this highly just for the location...
I should want to recommend this highly just for the location alone, but the inadequacies of the hotel relative to the price tier are leaving me somewhat befuddled. Guess they just aren't putting in effort because they know people (including my family) would book at $600/night to be in the location despite poor/indifferent reviews. Room sweltering hot . More than 2 other travelers I spoke to shared that their AC unit was not functional. Elevator down on a busy holiday weekend? Pool heater conveniently not working? (Almost 90 degrees outside and hardly anyone in the pool - Would think they'd prioritize outdoor with rising covid cases presently). Just not what I'd expect at this price tier .

We had an amazing time.
We had an amazing time. The beautiful views, walk to the amazing restaurants with so many food options, ice cream shops, arcades and lots of shopping!!!!!! Once you arrive, you never need your car until you checkout!

We love the hotel, the surrounded and staff. We arrived earlier than the check-in the and they allowed us to get the room in advance without extra cost. In addition to that, we stay a bit longer than the check-out hour also as a gratitude. While the check-in and check-out hours, for me should be re assessed since 4 pm and 11 am there are strange hours to follow the hotel crew made a stretch and accommodate us before the rules. All you see in the photos is what you will experience.

This hotel is a great option for a short get away close to the city. If you keep kosher a bunch of kosher options on the boardwalk within minutes walk. The boardwalk is beautiful. Clean.
The hotel itself is amazing. Staff is friendly. Room was clean and had all we need. Nice bar in the hotel lobby. Highly recommend this place
