The breakfast was clean and had everything necessary, but it wasn’t very plentiful. The location is great—there are supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s very close to the convention center. I’m really satisfied with the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. The hotel shuttle driver, named Joe (I’m not sure of the exact spelling), was extremely friendly and helpful. He really improved my impression of Louisville, making it much more positive. He was incredibly kind.

I was a very late arrival, thanks to an accident on the highway. The front desk worker was very attentive and an overall joy to work with and talk to after a long and tiring trip. The room completely surpassed all of my expectations. I didn't expect it to basically be an apartment. I will definitely be recommending Staybridge to all friends and coworkers for future stays. I will also be returning for future stays.

We went to the Louisville Slugger Museum, it was conveniently located, parking just around the corner, easy in and easy out of the city! The next day we went to the Mega Caverns for a Tram Ride through, the information was fabulous, the tour guide new her stuff! We also had dinner at Claudia Sanders, they had us at the 'yeast rolls' it was absolutely delicious! A great short overnight trip!

We went for the fireworks, specifically for the viewing on the river. Which never happened. The riverboat was overbooked and we were one of the unfortunate to not get a ticket. The Fireworks were great, but if in was to criticize anything, it would be the promoters. The sidewalks were covered with goose poop, everywhere. You would think they would have cleaned them. And the music during the fireworks was atrocious. NOTHING PATRIOTIC, a couple songs with America in them, but the rest were not suitable for a 4th of July celebration. The exiting from the parking lot was a uncontrolled mess. Rather than direct traffic the police left as fast as they could get to their cars and scoot. Cutting off people trying to exit parking lots and making leaving much harder than it needed to be. As for Louisville, Loved the town. Good food and drink. Entertainment was spot on. I was slightly disappointed that the only distilleries were for Bourbon, no moonshine? We did find a great brew pub! Will be returning for the Moonshine event in the fall!

Weekend a bit quiet and much not open on Sunday Muhammad Ali Centre good and interesting. Slugger Museum and Factory great and small bat given out so tour price very reasonable The racecourse where the Kentucky Derby is held is a short drive away and a brilliant experience and again well worth the small entrance fee. Very varied. Cafe not great. No coffee!!!

It is a beautiful city! Tons of things to do and see. You could be there for weeks and never finish seeing all the beautiful things Louisville has to offer. Our family went to Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay Theme/Water Park. This was our second year, as last year we only did the 1 day pass, and this year we did the 2 day. It exceeded our expectations, that's for sure! It was absolutely amazing!! We still didn't get to ride all the rides and slides but did get to ride the new "Flying Fox" rollercoaster at the Grand Opening and it was awesome!!! Our 8 year old daughter and 18 year old nephew absolutely loved it. My husband and I did as well and felt like teenagers again. It was wonderful and we plan on goin back next year for a third year in a row!!!🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

Lots to see and do for all interests.

Lots to see and do for all interests. From Bourbon tours, bat museum, Bats baseball games, museums, zoo, and so much more. Something for families, individuals, couples, or friends. Many local restaurants and unique joints to visit. You will definitely find something that everyone in your group likes to do. Mint Julep tours is great for bachelor parties. No one has to drive and you can decide where you want to go. There are many distilleries within 1 hour or so of Louisville if Bourbon/Whiskey is your thing. Churchill Downs is great too. So perhaps check out the live racing calendar if you want to go there for the day.

I come here several times annually to visit an elderly parent and have being coming here for a long time. If you haven't been here before, Louisville is a surprisingly active and attractive city for the most part with a viable downtown and several viable areas to explore. NuLu, Frankfort Avenue stores and restaurants as well as Bardstown Road, Churchill Downs of course and they have a behind the scenes tour, Louisville Slugger Museum, Speed Art Museum, U of L sports, Ali Center museum, Bourbon Trail where you can tour and sample at numerous distilleries, some in Louisville and others to the east between Louisville and Lexington. Well worth taking the time, as is seeing the spectacular horse country between the two cities. Take local routes, not I-64 to get the real flavor and up-close to lots of beautiful horses.

Beautiful historic property Iocated in Historic Louisville. Beautifully renovated rooms, everything you want available. Access to a small kitchen to make coffee/ tea and a large fridge for water. Home made cookies available daily which were delicious. Christopher was hugely welcoming, a wealth of knowledge about where to visit and created sumptuous breakfasts for us every morning, accommodating our earlier start on our final day. We used Uber to travel around for our short stay which was less costly than renting a car.
