Charged twice in dispute.

Charged twice in dispute. POOL is the smallest most shallow I have ever seen. Main reason for booking very disappointed. Mother has RA excited that she could use the pool to help her muscles. That did not happen. Best thing about whole experience was the Breakfast and the staff person in charge. Was one breakfast worth $185????

Easy on/off access to I-95.

Easy on/off access to I-95. Many places to eat close to the hotel. Pets were allowed, and the complementary breakfast offered many choices. Our room was clean, and comfortable. I would stay again.

This was the nastiest and dirtiest hotel room that I have...

This was the nastiest and dirtiest hotel room that I have stayed in in a number of years. I was caught in a storm with no other options. I wouldn't take my shoes off because the carpet was so dirty as was the bedspread. I was thinkful that I was there by myself & my wife wasn't with me. I got in late and left early because there was no hot water.

My family and I always stay here when we come into town.

My family and I always stay here when we come into town. We’ve never had any major issues until this stay. There was a live bed bug crawling on one of the beds. When I informed the staff in my opinion it seems like they’ve dealt with this before. There was no outrage, they apologies but it definitely seemed like something they were use to. After the we showed them the bed bug (I have a video of it crawling around on a pillow) they changed out room. The new room had a dead cockroach, someone’s old water bottle, and dirty bathroom.

It's a lovely little town—a lot of food options.

It's a lovely little town—a lot of food options. I usually stop when traveling down to Florida or up to NYC. It never disappoints, as I tend to reach it when I start experiencing driver fatigue behind the wheel. It's the perfect area to stop over and recharge your batteries for the remainder of your trip.

Good town/small city to stay overnight when doing a long road trip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from across 3 different exits on I-95. Our "go to" restaurants are Mexican and sushi, but there are plenty of other places (burger joints, diners, chains) to consider. My wife and I felt safe wherever we went. The driving was easy to navigate. We did not stay long enough to do any tours of the town, however there is some interesting history there based on the lumber industry (hence the name of the town). Plenty of reasonably priced hotels to choose from.

Really good value for the money! We stayed 4 people in one room, two double beds and at $17/person this is a no brainer. They had a good breakfast with pancakes, bagels, juice, coffee, cereals etc. Rooms were clean and good and what can be expected from a 3 star motel.

There is an older lady who does housekeeping. She is the ONLY bright spot that you will encounter should you stay at this hotel.
