Absolutely the worst accommodations ever - Hotel 6 on their...
Absolutely the worst accommodations ever - Hotel 6 on their property. MOLD in the room and surrounding the Not-in-service ice machine. Dirt throughout the room and the bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned at all. Broken wood on ramp leading to the apartment.

Overall, it was great; Once you figure out where things are it's fine. Two things I didn't appreciate was how pushy the lady was at the counter where I had to get my parking pass. I told her 3 times I wasn't interested in a timeshare seminar, and finally I told her to just give me my parking pass.
The other thing was that the person that I checked in with wrote the wrong address for my condo so it took some time to figure out where to go.

The resort as a whole was wonderful!
The resort as a whole was wonderful! From so many activities, to everything being so clean, and even to it being so peaceful! Definitely a place to travel to with your family! The waterpark is definitely a great place for children of all ages! There’s so much to do in it!

So many things to do. A weekend is not enough time. The area is beautiful, take time to relax and enjoy.
Camp Fire Grill's food is wonderful.
The water park is more for kids and teens.

For us, this spot was convenient for accessing the Skyline...
For us, this spot was convenient for accessing the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park. The resort provides many activities, many of which I think would be great for families or for golfers, but we were only there for the accommodations. Having a small apartment was much nicer and more spacious than would be an equivalent hotel room. We did not eat at any of the restaurants on the resort, but we had good burgers and beer in Elkton and Mexican food at the nearby Santa Fe Mexican Grille.

Staff was horrible.
Staff was horrible. Even the Concierge and the Manager were not helpful AT ALL. I waited for the manager who was supposed to be “coming right out.” 10 minutes later, I asked for a business card because I didn’t have time to wait any longer. I was referred to Booking.com for complaints and requests for refund. Booking.com recommended I contact the resort who had just referred me to Booking.com 😡😡😡
