I liked the fact that the hotel was in close proximity to downtown Manchester. It had a parking lot if you rented a car.

Dori was the initial person I met. I was worried because I was attending my graduation so I was a little nervous being in a new city. She was very helpful. She was able to tell me the best time to leave as well as making sure to expedite my room being available because she didn’t want me just sitting waiting since I was alone very personable high levels of Customer Service. She is truly an asset.

I really appreciated they accommodated my two dogs in the middle of a move. Most places have restrictions but I felt they were welcomed by the staff when we came in which made me much less anxious having to stay in a hotel with them.

What Guests Said About Merrimack:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0

It was a decent place to stay.

It was a decent place to stay. However, people have to know that because they allow pets, some of your room furniture maybe damaged. There were no bugs however in the place was generally clean. And quiet. But because there are family allowed if you want a quiet place there might be some occasional screaming of kids. Other than that it was all right. Because I have raised five kids, kid noise didn't necessarily bother me, however I would not want to be right next to a room with children because you could hear the noise.

During my visit I spent time in Nashua, NH.

During my visit I spent time in Nashua, NH. Although the hotel is technically in Merrimack, it is more mid-way between the two town's downtown areas. I highly recommend Nashua, it is a recovering and growing Boston bedroom community situated over the border in New Hampshire that remains fundamentally New Hampshire while also being very lively and interesting. Nashua is experiencing a renaissance, it offers an active and interesting night life, great food, coffee, beer and entertainment in a small city package, plus easy access to Boston or points north in New Hampshire or Vermont.

This place has a serious bug problem, the bugs be crawling all over the walls and ceiling. No breakfast was served just coffee which was false advertisement. It smells like Marijuana in the hallway and elevator. FYI, don't stay here, it's not worth your money!

I liked everything about it.I was disappointed about the cleanliness it could have been better. The cleaner left a dirty towel behind bathroom door..and I found 2 beach towels in closet left from other guest. The cord to the iron was unraveled if someone checked the clean room it would have prevented guest seeing it. The other BIG PROBLEM....NO BREAKFAST..HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! We were told a new company took over and BREAKFAST would not happen for a week.I definitely would have chose another place to stay.Besides the few housekeeping mistakes and not being told about t the breakfast it was a great place. Friendly front desk lady great pool nestled in a cute woodsy setting.

Isn't any breakfast, when I got there a map and key was put in a lockbox for me ( pretty hard to navigate and find my building at first ), my TV did not work and the checkout hours online differ from the ones at the hotel. Wasn't able to be accommodated after asking to pay a fee for an extended checkout time ( needed due to my car rental being ready at the time it says online ) . The whole apartment aspect of it was nice especially for the price, but the decor was very old and as I said none of my TV channels worked .

We were warmly greeted when we checked in and each morning. All staff were friendly and super helpful. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. A good breakfast each morning and tea/coffee available throughout the day, with a biscuit to dunk. They have a guest laundry, a gym, a swimming pool, and parking. There are different food options across the road and a supermarket. The location is perfect. We would highly recommend The Holiday Inn Merrimack.

The staff that we met on site were great. The room was adequately sized for the price. Everything was clean. There seems to be some humidity in the hotel but nothing awful. The floor was laminate and there was no mess left on my white socks which tells me they keep it clean.

Clean room, lots of lighting. The fridge and microwave worked very well. We didn't use the surface stove. The bed was quite comfortable. We were on the highway side so it was a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us. The hotel is conveniently situated.

Close to the Merrimack mall. Easy to find and close to the main highway. It’s calm and quiet in the area even though it’s close to the main roads. Room feels and looked clean
