The beach is wide in most areas and very clean with plenty...

The beach is wide in most areas and very clean with plenty of room for umbrellas, chairs, tents, etc. The area is not too commercialized, which makes for less traffic and congestion. Steaks at Rodeo are excellent, and Hunt's fried shrimp never disappoints. Joe Mama's has the best pizza and salad ever! Sunsets on the beach are awesome.

Such a nice change from PCB - quiet beach without the crowds. The shops and dining options they have are nice, but quite limited, so be prepared for long waits if you go out to eat. We loved Shipwreck Raw Bar and Caribbean Coffee. The pizza from the Local Beach Pizza truck was very good. If you love seafood, be sure to go to the Shell Shack and pick up some fresh or frozen options that you can't get in the restaurants, such as rock shrimp and soft shell crab.

Great place to go to get away from it all.

Great place to go to get away from it all. No t much in things to do if it is not a beach day. The food trucks are about the only places to eat and they were closed on Mon & Tue. I ventured to Port St Joe about 11 or so miles away. Many good restaurants, bar/ grill, shops, etc. It was perfect for me. The beach was great and not crowded. I found it interesting the Mexico Beach and Port St Joe on the same road 11 miles apart but different time zones

Mexico Beach is mostly residential with very nice beach.

Mexico Beach is mostly residential with very nice beach. Not much shopping or restaurants. We would drive to st Joe Beach for shopping or Panama City. We are seniors and totally enjoyed our condo. Loved our balcony where we could sit out and wind was mostly blocked which was nice in February.
