Amazing place to stay, beautiful and solid buildings inside and outside, nicelly made in brick and stones, nice wooden art work, nicelly brick and stone work around doors and everywhere, very thick walls, nice brick arches, and so quiet, we've been impressed! The hotel stuff is so nice, friendly and welcoming, from the service desk persons, which welcomes and take care of you since you arrive, until the cleaning persons, which are so nice, helpful, and professionnal. Greate amenities, starting with a great waiting area equiped with a big flat screen TV in the lobby, nice gym room very well equipped, wonderful dining area, greatelly equiped, with greate quality granit tables, and nice solid wood chairs, with flat TV to raise the ambience, while serving the free, super good and generous breakfast, which continues to be served until very late in the morning! Nice and super quiet and clean rooms, air-conditionned, with flat TV, and nice good quality Keurig coffee machine! Free multiple choice coffee in the lobby, and water at any time! Very nice outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by these nice brick and stone artwork, and plants and trees. Very, very well maintained, clean and fresh everywhere. This wonderful hotel exceeded all our expectations, we very much enjoyed, and warmly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Can't wait to go back again!

The folks who work at this location could not have been more helpful. I actually had to cancel my trip and they did everything right. The website i used to book my trip was booking.com and I do NOT, emphatically, recommend them as they have done everything in their power to keep my money. Including 2 customer service representatives literally yell at me when I asked a few questions and tried to explain "my side" of the story. Its been awful dealing with them. But the staff at the Hampton Inn were terrific. They helped me and have even gone to bat for me with this whole booking mess. I recommend this hotel at 100%

I would have liked to have had a brochure about attractions...

I would have liked to have had a brochure about attractions near by, restaurants in the area, and shopping near by. Thank goodness for google… I would highly recommend “Kick Back Jacks” fantastic restaurant!!! The Richmond Metro Zoo was nice, very clean and the animals were up and moving about. Very enjoyable. There seemed to be an abundance of traffic on the weekends. But take your time and be careful.

Location was good and near lots of resturants. Hotel was clean and I found it to be reasonable. If you want tv, be sure to ask at the desk how to use the remote so you can get the guide. TV kept saying no information and did not see any instructions. I just wanted some local news and weather.

As stated, myself, and my husband were extremely satisfied with the location of the hotel. We were not overwhelmed with the room, as we expected more. Furnishings were average, as was the decor. We did not like the cheap toilet paper in the bathroom, and limited toiletries. Overall, we expected a high end quality hotel being it's a SHERATON, and it did not fulfill our expectations. 😬

This was a family trip for us.

This was a family trip for us. We spent time enjoying being together and visiting nearby relatives. It's a beautiful, relaxing place that would be great for any group. It has rr to comfortably be together while providing areas for privacy in the bedrooms and outdoors. It's also a great location for drives into Richmond and to Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Valley. I'm already considering it for a "girl's trip" and a get together for my cousins! Very, very enjoyable.

Midlothian is a lovely city located right off the main...

Midlothian is a lovely city located right off the main highway with plenty of hotels to choose from and lots of shopping. Be sure to stop by the Brick House as it's really good food and plenty of it. Service is fantastic and meals are quick to receive after ordering.

My stay at La quinta Midlothian was good, no issues in the...

My stay at La quinta Midlothian was good, no issues in the beginning. The room was clean and the floor I stayed on was quiet, no problem with parking at all. The last night wasn't good I was locked out of my room due to the door card reader not working and I was accommodated with staying in another room until the issue was fixed in the morning. The hotel was in a good location for me to attend my family event. I would stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

This is a run down, shabby and unkempt property. The food was as bad as the hotel, powdered eggs that were so watered down that when you cut them, water came out!!!! I slept in a chair bc the room was not clean and rhe bed was hard as a rock. If this is a franchise, the owner is abusing the brand. If it is not a franchise, then the corporation should be embarrassed because it is NOT up the lowesr standard of LsvQuinta. By the water, we use LA Quinta all the time. Now I will seriously have to decide whether I will ever use La Quinta again.

We only stayed overnight for out transit. The hotel is a beautiful historic building and felt like sleeping in a cozy manor. The dining room (where we had breakfast) was gorgeous. The rooms are big and comfortable. I really liked the staff. They were very friendly and all smiles.

Breakfast begins at 6 and was ample, but front of property bright and curtains insufficient to block lights. Loud morning front desk that audible in rooms. Sports room okay and room big, and staff courteous and helpful. Centrally located for Midlothian.
