The best part was the staff. Very accommodating and pleasant. We booked the rooms online for a XC team competing the next day in Walla Walla. Everything there was absurdly expensive for our high school team budget. When we checked in, one of the coach’s rooms was in another building from the rest and the front desk person was able to move them to a room near the rest of the team without any extra cost! The property looked newly updated and painted. The rooms were clean and smelled neutral. Breakfast was basic continental foods, pastries, doughnuts, English muffins, bagels, cream cheese, cereal, oatmeal packets, milk, yogurt, bananas, oranges. We did grab a few breakfast burritos from the Safeway across the street. Accommodations exceeded our expectations for the price!

Great location. Close to downtown and the Whitman campus. Great common areas - nice fire pit and outdoor picnic tables, and nice working space upstairs in the lobby. Cool room with really comfy bed.

Great staff. When we showed up the attendant at the front desk asked what brought us to town. I explained that we had our 3 year old grandson and were coming to use the pool as he loves to swim, she placed us in a room just across from the pool. Every staff member we walked past said hello and was very curious. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. They have a restaurant in the hotel or there are plenty of options within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back in the future.
