Really comfortable apartments with spacious common areas and bedrooms. We enjoyed walking along the trails near the property and the peacefulness of the location. Hosts were accommodating about our dog as well and he had a great time as well.

Love the cookies! Staff was exceptional. Room was nice and roomy with comfortable beds and a good selection of pillows. This was the first bathroom mirror I've ever been able to use for makeup and the shower had a footrest for shaving legs. Best designed bathroom ever! Close to shops, food and highway.

We went to the mound & went through the visitor center.

We went to the mound & went through the visitor center. We didn't get to walk to the top of the mound due to the frigid weather, but we will be back in the spring. We went to Grand Vue overlook & enjoyed the falling snow along with the view. We also took a tour of the WV Penitentiary, which was interesting. We went to the river & walked out onto the dock to watch the ducks come on shore & the tugboat push the barges. We also went up to Oglebay & took in the festival of lights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The free breakfast and the complimentary Wednesday evening...

The free breakfast and the complimentary Wednesday evening dinner were fantastic! We eat at the Perkins Restaurant after we checked out, taking my nephew out for a birthday lunch. Moundsville is very easy to navigate because the streets are laid out in numerical form, all along Route 250. The roads up on Roberts Ridge are in disrepair and need some added safety features like guard rails and sink hole repairs. The local folks are very friendly and cordial.
