The staff was exceptional! Absolutely above and beyond. We enjoyed getting to know Austin, Kryzdee, Jesse, Jen, and everyone we encountered. The food was fabulous as well, and the candlelit restaurant was romantic and memorable. We will be back!

The location was pretty good, the bed was comfortable.

The location was pretty good, the bed was comfortable. Not rustic,Grungy. Shower stopped running three times. Lighting was inadequate, Kayaks were filthy. To enter the cottage I had to sweep the pine needles off the steps to make it safe to enter.Between windows and screens were full of spider webs and dirty. Overall unattractive. Extremely overpriced!

This is a quiet corner of the Berkshires.

This is a quiet corner of the Berkshires. If you like quiet roads, and good, uncrowded options for walking and hiking, it could be for you. Note: there are only a couple of options for dining in the area. And one of them is only open weekends. You will have to drive about 30 miles to Sheffield or Great Barrington for gas, a major drugstore, etc. Totally surprised there's not a better general store in the area. And swimming options are limited.
