MacauI cannot say enough great things about Best Western S. Beach. It is the best spot. The staff, the wonderful vies, the great romm with the balcony is only someone from Boston and the cold can dream of. I hope to come back here again next Feb. for my school vacation and I look forward to it. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful. The ony thing that may be nice is some pastry in the morning to go with the great coffee they had in the lobby.

The shops on Flagler Avenue were very nice but CRAZY...
The shops on Flagler Avenue were very nice but CRAZY expensive ($200 for a dress and over $100 for a women’s top). Very pretty pricey jewelry and accessories. Fun to browse. I personally would have appreciated more modestly priced items as I like bringing back items to remember a trip. The beach was pretty and had plentiful 4 hour parking. Nice mix of local shops and restaurants. Canal Street also had cute boutiques worth exploring.
Some very different restaurants in town. We enjoyed The Garlic for dinner and Norwoods looked like it would be a good option for a longer visit.
Highly recommend The Black Dolphin Inn for overnight stay.

We were there for a wedding and had we known it was such a charming little town we would have stayed longer.
We had dinner at Northwood established in 1946 and great breakfast at Wake Up Cafe.
We are seniors with a lot of energy and found on Saturdays I believe Lion's Club small farmers market to attend.

The beach near our condo was wonderful for walking and just looking at the waves. We did not have a bad meal in our tour of seafood restaurants. The National Seashore near New Smyrna Beach was a pleasant afternoon of looking at undeveloped Florida. The city has a surprisingly good museum that sponsors walking tours snd such that explore the town's unexpected abd interesting history.

Beaches are great. Lots of nice restaurants.
Beaches are great. Lots of nice restaurants. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always a great experience. Shopping is covered whatever you may be looking for. Roads are laid out for convenience. Just a great place to be. A hell of a lot cheaper than most beach towns.

Great dining options and an old Florida feel. Quirky downtown with free roaming roosters, shuffleboard, one of a kind shops. Beach was not crowded at all but at times very little/no sand options at higher tide.

Small, slightly tired looking neighborhood, but plenty of restaurant choices (to suit all tastes, and finances), easy walking, plenty of parking, lovely little shops and a short drive to other areas nearby with shops, restaurants, galleries and a great Farmer's Market on the weekend.

I stayed at this accommodation over New Years and loved everything about it. My room was beautifully decorated, spacious, quiet, and clean, with a balcony that overlooked the Indian River. Easy access, free parking. Take advantage of the location and walk to the River Park Terrace for a delicious meal, drive no more than 10 minutes to reach New Smyrna Beach, shops and restaurants, 15 minutes to Canaveral National Seashore Visitors Center, 45 mins to Merritt Wildlife Refuge, and about an hour to Kennedy Space Center. Highly recommend.

- Great view and location
- The hotel has really interesting architecture — every room has an ocean view balcony.
- Spacious room with two bedrooms, so I could stay with my dad and we could both have privacy.
- Friendly front desk guys, and a very cute, very vocal cat that hangs around the property.

Great location to explore New Smyrna Beach and the shops and bars on Canal Street. Highly recommend the corkscrew cocktail bar and their $5 margaritas.
Quaint old school charm, seaside / mermaid theme , immaculately clean. Good sized room and friendly hosts with the pancake breakfast!!
