Petersburg is nice.
Petersburg is nice. We enjoyed Crockets Spot Restaurant and the history downtown. Old cars and houses really nice. People very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time together at the new Live Casino. We will search for better accommodations next time

I enjoyed my stay at Country Inn & Suites in Petersburg, VA. The location, price for my stay and accommodations were great. The hotel is ideally located near the interstate with easy access. Our room was very clean and spacious enough for 2 people. I like that the hotel only has 3 floors, we were on the 3rd floor with no one overhead, no noise!
The only drawback was the morning breakfast very limited selection during our stay. May have a different variety on other days. No problem, we just ventured out to a restaurant for a hot breakfast!
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Tina, front desk rep was very friendly and professional!

I’m born and raised in Petersburg always a great place it’s my home. Every trip I take home I have to go to Lees on Washington Street the best fish and shrimp the prices are very reasonable.
Church’s chicken if you want some good chicken and sides for the family

I stopped in Petersburg on my way to Rawlings VA.
I stopped in Petersburg on my way to Rawlings VA. My alternative was to drive an extra 60 miles to South Hill for an overnight stay. I am sure Petersburg has a number of military attractions and other amenities for visitors but my purpose for staying there was simply I needed a place to stay that night before continuing to Rawlings VA

Dirty, scary when you see police cameras at stores roads are very rough!! It's a shame we have so many tax paying citizens and can't even go to that historical place without it being run down!! Americans need to do better!!!!

Nothing there - it's a very run down depressed area - really it was suited for us only as a 1 night stop on a very long driving trip. Next day we saw the reality of where we were and it had a creepy depressing feel. Maybe it's better in other parts of Petersburg, not sure.

Disappointed, you should remove the Days Inn from your list, book in Winsor Lock (BDL AIRPORT), the dirty hotel we paid for and we had to share the hallways with wanderers...today I arrived at one with my family in (Virginia) DAYS INN, the lousy dirty hotel. They had to change rooms twice because dirty water came out of the shower. VERIAN BOOKING HAS MORE RESPECT FOR THEIR CLIENTS.
