United StatesI like that the room had a kitchen with cookware and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were very kind, helpful, polite, and they look happy to be there and happy around guest. I also really like the breakfast and how there's a variety to choose from. The food was delicious. Overall, the place feels safe and it's quiet and clean. Best bang for your buck!! Great price for such high quality. Love the location too. Will definitely be coming back next time I visit family. Had a great experience. Thank you all.

Port Arthur is smack dab in the middle of all interests.
Port Arthur is smack dab in the middle of all interests. If you are a birdwatcher this is the area to stay in. We stayed at the Days Inn on Memorial. Sabine Woods is just 20 minute's away! Spring migration was still popping and the birds and birding was soooo rewarding. ANDY’s Chinese restaurant was fantastic! FRESH food and scrumptious! Also Tia Mari Mexican (make sure you go to the right location) was also delicious! Our first day vac. was spent at Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary… from there (fairly short drive) to the Hotel. Beaumont is only 20 minute’s away. We went to two Museums and Catail Marsh in Beaumont. WE hope to go back at least a couple of more times to see ALL the sites as well as MORE birdwatching! We have soooo much more we would like to see… Museums!

It seemed the whole town was friendly.
It seemed the whole town was friendly. And since I must have looked ragged after working on the nearby lighthouse, I was still treated very nice. Perhaps some of the workers in my town should go there for training.
You should bring ear plugs if you want to sleep in as the trains run all day.

Everything was fine except waiting 2 hours to “sort out my booking. I wasn’t even out in my room until the hotel received confirmation even though I had my receipt and my confirmation number as well as the PIN code. We were already getting in late, then had to wait 2 hours, till almost 2 am for our room and it wasn’t our fault.

The feeling was of a freshly opened hotel. It is very clean with lots of space, nice comfortable rooms.
Nice breakfast.
Out back the pool area also
has a clean feeling. Ocra, pickles and herbs are beeing grown just outside the fence. Very nice 🙂
