That picture of port saint joe was not like where we stayed. Not sure when that picture was taken. But we made two trips in one night. A first and a last. There is a Mexican restaurant in the downtown that was excellent.

My husband and I enjoy the small town feel.

My husband and I enjoy the small town feel. Very friendly people! We stayed at The Port Inn and Cottages definitely would recommend staying here if you plan to stay! Super friendly helpful people, instantly felt like home. Great food, with multiple options. Joe Mamas pizza and uptown located in the center of Port St Joe, we got ice cream at the Sugar shack where they had a coffee place in the same building with games on the table for hanging out. We climbed the lighthouse, received great pictures from the amazing view of the water and town! Another great experience was booking a horse ride on the beach at Cape San Blas through Two Bit Stable. We had so much fun, loved every minute of it. The horses were well mannered, taken care of. We were even matched with our horses depending on experience and how nervous some were in our group. Everything was within walking distance. There was definitely plenty for us to do during our stay!

This property was everything that was shown and better. Much bigger than expected so our party had plenty of room to spread out though we spent most of our time at home together watching movies. Very clean, modern, and the hosts provided a book detailing things to do in the area and how things in the home work (I.e. the tv, etc) There are several public beach access points near by. Check out William J "Billy Joe" Rish Recreation Area. Bathrooms and public beach access. We had the beach to ourselves it was gorgeous and so serene.

Rental house was lovely. Clean and well stocked with expected basic necessities. Location was perfect! I love the Boardwalk neighborhood. I felt very safe staying in the house, walking the neighborhood and going to and from the beach. I plan to stay at Shore Bird again in the near future!!!
