Perfect location! We went on a family trip with my two small children and our pet. They welcomed us incredibly and everything was very comfortable. At night we enjoyed live music!

The Swan Hotel not only met our expectations but exceeded them. We got a cozy cottage with our dog, and we were all extremely comfy. The staff even put a dog bed, treats, and had food and water bowls set up. It is the perfect location. We were able to walk to all the great restaurants and do our shopping. Being at the end of Water St. made it even more peace due to the one-way street. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you, staff!

A darling little town to stroll through with lots of interesting shops. There are lots of little places to sit by the water and just enjoy the day. A number of really good restaurants and a couple of great ice cream shops.

We love Port Townsend.

We love Port Townsend. We've been there approximately 4 to 5 times over the past 25 years and never tire of the quaint little historical downtown area. There are so many different little shops to visit, a number of old buildings with faded signage on the old bricks that are so intriguing. The last couple of times we finish off our late afternoon at Vintage, a winery/restaurant on the main downtown street that offers wine and charcuterie plates with live music from 4:30 to 6:30 on weekends. There are also many little cafes and eateries to choose from for breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner. Very enjoyable every time.

Amazing town. Great Vibes and the locals are very friendly.

Amazing town. Great Vibes and the locals are very friendly. Lots of little shops, each unique in their own way. The old Typewriter store is so cool! The spice & tea shop have a huge selection. Fantastic Restaurants, anything your heart desires and yummy Pizza! We've been to Port Townsend so many times and each time we try a different Restaurant. We have no favorite, they're all great! Take some time to appreciate the architecture. Port Townsend has a lot of really beautiful Buildings. Enjoy yourself and have a cup of coffee on the beach.

I hesitate to give PT too good a review because I want to keep it for myself. I love this town with it's San Francisco vibe and historic waterfront. Check out Aldrich's in the upper town along with the farmer's market on Saturdays.

WE stayed just one night on our way home from a more extended trip to the Olympic Peninsula. There is lots to see and do in the immediate area. Do go to Fort Worden for the beach, historic buildings, lighthouse and whale museum. The waterfront is still a vibrant working waterfront and each Sept. , PT hosts a fantastic wooden boat festival.

Next time, I would opt for a larger room. A single king room was a little too small for 8 nights. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was so convenient and just enough and a great way to get an early start on our days. The staff was SO nice. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The location can't be beat!

Charming old hotel centrally located with an old west feel about it. Rooms have character and are a bit quirky, as is the entire hotel. Our room was spacious, and included a foyer, giving some additional privacy. The decor, too, was a bit quirky and old west. You could imagine the clump of boots and the jangle of spurs in the hall.

Location is great! Breakfast was a little light and actually too late for me, had to get going early. The hotel is undergoing some renovation I understand. It could use new carpets, etc. but very comfortable place and good value for money. I'd stay again.
