The interior furnishing and decor were excellent, with great attention to detail. The room was clean. There was proper liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo, and even conditioner. The pillows were soft and fluffy. The town of Raymond was quite peaceful. I was headed south from Olympic National Park and stayed here for the night. For this price, this place is definitely one of the best.

The house was updated, clean, and comfortable. It was a very quiet area, we saw many deer and geese. I would recommend this vacation home. It had two bedrooms each with a bathroom.

Raymond is an industrial working town, has a nice park and...

Raymond is an industrial working town, has a nice park and swimming pool. The restaurants have a warm, local feel to them and I really liked the place. There are some small museums. Overall a good place for lunch stop or break on a road trip or maybe single night to explore the town.

The coffee shop was very nice and the hotel and restaurant.

The coffee shop was very nice and the hotel and restaurant. The carriage museum looked interesting, we did not do it. We were biking the Willapa Hills trail, which we started here. It was an enjoyable bike ride.

The room was very clean and cozy.

The room was very clean and cozy. The staff wonderful friendly. The courtyard was very lovely with plants and flowers everywhere, fire pit with Adirondack chairs and picnic bench. It was all very welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and will stay here again the next time I come through raymond.

A very small town--and very quiet at night, so ideal if you want to unwind and sleep well. There are lovely parks and its very clean and walkable. I walked from the hotel to a little market to get some milk, and found an incredible park, and throughout the town are wonderful steel sculptures--one activity is to find them all, but I didn't have time. I do want to return when I can make time to visit the museums and explore a bit more.

Now this is about Raymond the town itself not the Golden...

Now this is about Raymond the town itself not the Golden Lion Inn. I've lived here in Washington for some time now and found Raymond to be a quite, depressed town. The drive out of Raymond taking HYWY 6 going to Vader thru Pe Ell is an excellent opportunity to decompress your thoughts. I was the only driver/car on that road enjoying music, the rain and scenery. Made it to my destination with happy thoughts!
