The views of the Navesink River are incredible, it’s a small enough hotel to where it feels intimate and comfortable, the rooms are also very nice sized and generous you don’t feel crammed in - the lobby is super warm. It’s got a beautiful glass elevator and everywhere you look it’s crisp and got a modern yet warm vibe and is beautifully decorated - the staff is amazing. We’ve got a lot of history there. We actually spent our wedding night there, got engaged there and every time we go, we’re reminded of how much we love it and it feels like a home away from home!!! ❤️

The Molly Pitcher Inn is close enough to walk to a downtown...
The Molly Pitcher Inn is close enough to walk to a downtown that has a potentially vibrant scene with interesting restaurants and the Beacon Fine Arts Gallery which features contemporary artists. We were able to walk to the Two Rivers Theatre for a great show. The Count Basie Theatre was walkable, as was the Count Basie movie house where we saw Mickey 17.
There is a lot of fast-moving vehicular traffic that is discouraging for both pedestrians and bicycles. Also inhibiting are walk/don't walk signs that require manual operation. This particular feature contributes to cars going faster more than they might otherwise.
They need more public river space.

red bank was OK. nice couple of blocks to walk around. a lot of restaurant choices and dessert stores, most stores closed early so not much option for that (on a Friday night - not late). there is a nice little video game place nostalgic entertainment. and there is the Count Basie Theater (we didn't go, but would go back if there was a show we'd like
