It is a home away from home for us. Enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably and just enough amenities that we only had to bring food and clothing. Towels, shampoo & conditioner, and a blow dryer available in the bathroom. We liked having separate rooms with queen beds. A pull out sofa couch with plenty of sheets, blankets, and pillows to fit everyone’s needs. The wood floors are ideal for cleaning up the sand that is inevitably brought in from our visits to the beaches. Sand dunes, ocean beach access, the bay, and Umpqua lighthouse are minutes away from the quiet neighborhood. Stores, laundry mat, dog park, and restaurants minutes away from the apartment as well. We are already planning to visit again and plan to book here. Reasonable price and convenient location for a family of 5. We only have good things to say about our stay and experience in Winchester bay. We visited the coast at the end of October, so there wasn’t big crowds of tourists. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the apartment and having enough space, dishes, and kitchen appliances to accommodate our needs. This apartment was SO much better than a hotel stay!!
