United StatesThe room could use a little refresh but my house could too so I was not put off by this. The rooms are immaculate and the motel guests are very quiet. It reminded me of when I was a kid traveling with my parents in the 60’s and 70’s. Host and hostess were very kind. Very close to great restaurants and shopping.

Plenty of shopping and restaurants in Rock Falls. You are definitely not short on options. If you’re looking for a good bar the Whiskey Barrel Saloon is worth checking out. You get your money’s worth with the food and beer there.

Reminded me of the motor hotel-style places back in the day with all rooms on ground level and arranged around a U-shaped parking lot. Enjoyed chatting with Sean at check-in--very personable. Room was a good size and everything seemed to work. WiFi speed seemed surprisingly good.

We were surprised by the limited food options compared to other Wyndham hotels. Also, the staff knew that although the only basic food to eat was cereal, the milk ran out and no effort was made to get more.

The walking path along the river was lovely. I had to kill time, and this was a very nice place to do it. The hotel was adequate, not amazing, but clean and comfortable as I had expected from the ratings.
