The people were super friendly, the shops were quaint, and the restaurants were yummy. We found some great treasures at The Vintage Market. Ate several meals at The Rusty Nail. We had tasty burgers at The Windmill Grill. Great food and wine at The Blue Ostrich (so much so, that we joined their wine club)! Not far from other points of interest, like lakes, and other small towns. The Artillery Museum is a must-stop for WWII buffs. The tribute to Medal of Honor recipients is heart-wrenching. Great local church (Friendship Church). We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
