This is a suburb that has no exceptional restaurants for any price, it's filled with homeless people, or lower-income "middle-class" so they are entitled AND crass at the same time. The only reason I came here is because I had to, I'd never stay here because I want to. Better off in Pasadena or even Big Bear.

Right by the Red Roof there is an excellent gym, Crunch...
Right by the Red Roof there is an excellent gym, Crunch Fitness, I used it on a previous stay and did so again this time.
There are restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The hotel is two minutes to the freeway linking other places.
San Dimas is not for everyone, but it suits my purposes as a good base.

walls are thin so expect to hear loud sex, TV, talking in the next room. San Dimas area is wonderful with everthing you need and short drive to cute Glendora or Monrovia for wonderful restaurants and small town feel with views of the foothills. I didn't go LaVerne direction. lots of parking.

This hotel has changed alot in one year and not for the better. I had family in from Hawai'i and recommended they stay there and felt very bad because they were actually afraid to stay. I'm wondering if this has become a homeless voucher hotel??
