Fantastic stay. The room was large and felt warm, cozy, and inviting. Beautiful stained glass windows throughout the Abbey spaces. The continental breakfast in the next building over had a good variety: fresh fruit, mini croissants, bagels, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, and coffee, tea, and juices or water. The restaurant options in the area are great. The bistro itself is fantastic and quite romantic with a fireplace. Would definitely return for another weekend getaway soon.

We live in Bermuda and went to Cape Cod for my son to attend camp. We needed the hotel to be a home away from home and that is exactly what they delivered on. The facilities were great, breakfast was amazing, rooms were nice size, laundry facilities we easy and accessible. Even through we initially booked this hotel by mistake. It worked out to be exactly what we wanted and needed. A home away from home. Staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient. The hotel seemed like a very well run machine.

I used to live here, and always enjoy my visits back. Nice shops and cafes, very walkable. Movie theater a short drive, gym and large grocery store a few minutes away. Beautiful roads for country drives.

Heritage Park and Museum was fascinating and absolutely beautiful. The cars in the museum were absolutely amazing and brought you to an era of ingenuity and invention. Just remarkable... The grounds were pristine with plantings of the most colorful shrubs for this region. The Boardwalk was a great place to just take in the beauty of Cape Cod. From the smell of the ocean air to the rolling waves--just perfect. The Glass Museum was another enjoyable stop. The creativity was astounding and the creative art of glass blowing was mind blowing.... Sandwich is a gem of a location after spending most of my life in the Brewster, Harwich, Dennis and Yarmouth areas -- Sandwich is our new Cape Cod destination! The Food at the Daniel Webster Inn and Spa was EXCELLENT - as was the service. The Spa was equally as enjoyable. A visit to The Fisherman's View was a thumbs down. The atmosphere/location and Sushi was the best part of that Restaurant ... Staff and other dishes ordered by our group score a D-....

Sandwich is the perfect town with the Cape vibe.

Sandwich is the perfect town with the Cape vibe. The Boardwalk is a must for seeing the Sunrise. The Locals restaurant was just that, delicious food and comfortable. It hit the spot. Lots of great hiking and walking trails to get out and enjoy the outdoors. The main road is great for entering the Cape in any direction.

Everything was good except when I was giving my credit card they gave a price of 789.00 for 5 days and then they said they add $250.00 for any damage but $250. 00 w.as not returned. =====When I called the owner said he booking company had to return it. No one w ill help me. I never ever had this happen and w travel a lot

Sandwich has great beaches with nice restaurants and shops...

Sandwich has great beaches with nice restaurants and shops to keep you busy. Traffic can be an issue during the summer months as expected, so make sure to get to the beaches early to get your prime spot. The local people are awesomely friendly, and ready to assist you in any way, so be thoughtful when travelling around the area. Don't forget to stop by the Tree House Brewery for some good beer, and a great view. Enjoy your visit.

Sandwich is a small pretty town.

Sandwich is a small pretty town. We did not shop in the town itself. Several years ago I toured the Frost Mill and The Glass Museum which are very historical sites. There is much history about Sandwich, it was the first settlement to be incorporated as the first town on Cape Cod. The Glass Museum has the original daily diary written by one of the first married lady settlers that is available for perusal. That is an absolute gem to read. Imagine this early pilgrim wife writing daily the temperature weather and simple goings about her day and we are reading her words and thoughts hundred years later!!!!

This hotel was so much better than we anticipated. The setting was lovely, the room spacious and very clean, had everything we needed in it. The main lodge provided a good breakfast and even had a laundry room we could use - great for us as we are from the UK on a road trip here. The manager Kuntal was extremely helpful (we had a GPS issue) and he tried lots of things to help us resolve it so we could enjoy the rest of our trip. We were so grateful. Will definitely be recommending this to our friends who are coming out next year.

The house itself is very spacious and the pool and gardens are maintained well. It is a short drive to the centre of Sandwich so location is great for restaurants, shops and cafes. Sandwich is lovely to walk round and visit!
