The grounds are just gorgeous! It's hard to believe you are so close to SeaTac, it truly is a little oasis. Next time we travel to Seattle and need a place to stay for a night or two, we would chose Cedarbrook. Our room was big with a nice view of the walking paths. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is very good - if not expensive, which seems to be the way with Seattle nowadays. They have lovely outdoor seating, placed along rivers and ponds. The shuttle service was also good, very fast, readily available and friendly.

The breakfast was excellent, noticeably better than at another hotel I stayed at in Seattle, and the atmosphere felt more relaxed and enjoyable. The front desk staff were consistently warm, helpful, and welcoming, which made a real difference after a long day of travel. The airport shuttle was convenient and reliable, and I especially appreciated that one of the drivers went out of his way to drop me at the Angle Lake Light Rail Station. Overall, a genuinely positive and comfortable experience.

The room was spacious and lovely. We booked an accessable room and it met our expectations. The Kitchen was fully furnished and had lots of cupboard space for our extras. The staff was extra helpful. We were moving and had to stay at the inn for over a week. It was an oasis of calm in the midst of the chaos of moving. Grocery store and restaurants were close.

Pretty small but cozy and comfortable room. Beds and pillows are good shower pressure was a little weak. Towels, shampoo, bath gel are all sufficient. Coin laundry machine available. Great hot breakfast, we have buritos, scamble eggs , sausages for 1st day. Croissant with ham sandwich, scamble eggs and spinach quiche for 2nd day. I will definitely come back again.

Home of the Foodie Airport

SeaTac is a small city which surrounds the airport of the same name, better known as Seattle-Tacoma Airport. It is the busiest passenger hub in the state of Washington and has the unusual distinction of having a reputation for serving good food. Its 3 parallel runways are flanked to the north and south by 2 of the city’s green parks and others are on the shores of Puget Sound, separating the city from Vashon Island.

Unsurprisingly, aviation is one of SeaTac’s biggest industries and several international airlines have their headquarters here. Much of the accommodation is also centred around the terminal buildings. Many of the hotels and cheap motels on Booking.com offer swimming pools and free airport shuttles, making that early morning departure or late night arrival so much easier.

A train links the airport directly to Seattle city centre, as does the interstate which also goes past neighbouring Tacoma. SeaTac City Hall is just off the interstate, a few streets from large Angle Lake whose calm waters are a popular spot for fishing.

To the north-west in Tukwila, the Westfield Southcenter mall is the largest shopping centre in the state and has a whole host of restaurants as well as big name brands.

SeaTac over the years has been an outstanding U.S. airport, with light rail connecting it to Downtown Seattle. The surrounding area seems to be deteriorating and less safe, since my last visit in 2018. I realize the airport has little control over this, however it does reflect on the airport.

Our room was spacious and very clean.

Our room was spacious and very clean. Lighting could be better. It had amenities needed for a longer stay. We ate breakfast in their restaurant and it was very good. Wait staff was attentive and food came out quickly and was delicious. It is also close to 13 Coins, which is another great restaurant. This hotel is the closest to the airport, if you choose, you can walk to hotel easily. However they do have a shuttle service, which is needed on those rainy days in Seattle.

It was so congested and our flight was delayed which made us late for our connecting flight. It would've been nice knowing why. Fortunately, we did get a later connecting flight in Denver, which was also delayed, but they told us that it was because of the weather at the airport we would be landing in. The Denver airport provided food vouchers for us because of the delay. SeaTac didn't provide any vouchers even though it was a longer wait. In fact, we paid over $50 for 2 sandwiches, 1 bag of chips, and 1 soda. The sandwiches didn't have any condiments on them so they were very dry and not very satisfying. If we go on another Alaskan cruise, we'll fly into Vancouver.

Excellent breakfast at Country Inn and Suites Excellent Restaurants in the area. The hotel recommends many places with free Appetizer cards. Great city and community support in the area. Great walking distance to other attractions.

The location to the airport was nice. We were able to take a very short Uber ride there, even though they dropped us off at the wrong hotel.
