Staff were lovely, and they decorated the room for my partner's birthday as I requested. It was clean and comfortable, and Talon restaurant makes excellent steak.

What Guests Said About Shady Cove:

Very few places to eat that were open in Shady Cove.

Very few places to eat that were open in Shady Cove. The best likely place to eat in Shady Cove is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mac's Diner adjoins the motel. Was looking forward to eating there but it was not available during my stay. This should be noted on the Restaurant's website and the Motel could also mention this fact on their website since the restaurant is adjacent to the motel.

We were visiting to bury my grandmother in our family...

We were visiting to bury my grandmother in our family cemetery with my grandfather. It is such a beautiful place we just love being so close to the river and love watching the wildlife near by. Our family usually visits yearly.

The front desk, cleaning staff, and the owner were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful the entire stay. We loved the location with a deck that overlooked the river and close proximity to nearby restaurants and other shops. Shady Cove is a cute little town without a lot going on, but this place is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the river town atmosphere. We had 3 different room types for our family group and each room was uniquely decorated and charming in its own way.

Although this was a motel, and we usually do not stay at this type of hotel, we found it to be exceptional. The owner made sure that we were taken care of,in any way that he was able to assist. There is a nice outdoor gazebo with the table and chairs. Everything was clean and everything worked as it should.

Shady Cove was a great stop on our visit to Crater Lake. The motel had modern rooms and comfortable beds. We loved the location along the Rogue River and especially liked having a good diner restaurant right beside the motel.
