We were in town for my father's funeral. The quiet, wooded property was a serene respite from the family activities. We appreciated the areas of the house that allowed the seven of us to have privacy and also to gather as a group. The balconies overlooking the river and the boats available for our use would be great for a summer visit. The gathering spaces gave more than adequate room for a larger group. The premise was comfortable and in good repair. The L.P.'s were a favorite with our young adults.

Staff was very kind and helpful, courteous and quick. The hotel was clean and put together well. It was very quiet and was easy to navigate. The parking lot is large and easy to get in and out of, we came after a large snowfall, and it was plowed nicely. The room was initially cold but did not take long to heat up after turning on the independently controlled HVAC. Great value for the price!

The good news: the room was perfectly clean, I was able to sleep comfortably, and the hotel was quiet (probably because there were very few guests—only five cars in the parking lot). The attendant was pleasant enough, although my calls to the front desk went unanswered.
