United StatesThe house is beautiful, and the owner is a sweet and welcoming person. The upper room was well furnished with lots of small touches to make your stay more comfortable, like bath robes and a charging strip on the bed side table. The included breakfast was a delicious experience, and I slept extremely well on a very comfortable bed. I was sad my stay was only one night!

United StatesThe property is beautiful, breakfast was yummy and different everyday and the conversation at the table was interesting and enjoyable. The dogs are friendly and well behaved and an added bonus. Pickett made us feel welcome. The property is well maintained, had plenty of amenities to include car charging, walking trails and is full of history. We really loved waking up in the country atmosphere. So much nicer than your standard hotel.

South boston is up and coming, lots of new growth in the...
South boston is up and coming, lots of new growth in the area. New food chains and grocery stores have moved in. The high school was being rebuilt. This place is an hour from Richmond and thirty minutes from the new casino.

I've stayed here at this Super 8...the three times ive been to South Boston VA and I wouldnt stay anywhere else, looked into to some of the other area hotels the first time and this place was reviewed better than others so I looked it and it was for sure also has a little strip behind it with a couple of places to eat and also a grocery store very convenient!!

This hotel is just off the main road with a river in the back that makes it a quiet place to stay and easy to get to. The staff is excellent do friendly. I like to give special mention to Stacy, who is always cheerful, constantly keeping the food bar clean and full yet always ready to give a smile and make you feel at home.

Nothing, it was beyond dirty and the area was awful. Water was scolding hot with no cold. Building was dirty old and falling apart along with room. The front desk wasn't mean but certainly not friendly or inviting. We were unable to stay it was beyond unsanitary.
