The location was perfect, right on the beach and close walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The villa was exceptionally clean with fresh plush towels and nicely decorated. All the appliances were in great condition and very clean as well. We really liked the layout and the fact there were sliding glass doors in the living room as well as the master bedroom. The check in process was all done through email and quite painless. Highly recommended…

excellent location, very quite with lots of birds, frogs, and lizards around the property. the walk to the beach is not bad at all, but might be tough with a lot of beach gear. the kitchen is small, but has everything we needed, just wouldn't try to cook a big meal in it (go out for dinner). the hot tub was great to unwind every night.

St. George Island completely captured our hearts. If you're looking for a peaceful beach vacation away from crowds, high-rise hotels, and heavy traffic, this is the place. The beaches are clean, uncrowded, and absolutely beautiful. We were treated to breathtaking sunrises every morning, stunning sunsets in the evenings, and some of the clearest water we've seen on the Gulf Coast. Whether we were walking the beach, collecting shells, or simply relaxing by the water, every day reminded us why we love exploring places like this. We also enjoyed the local restaurants, friendly people, and the slower pace of island life. It's the perfect destination for couples, families, fishermen, photographers, and anyone looking to truly unwind. One thing to know before you visit: St. George Island has a limited number of restaurants, shops, and lodging options compared to larger beach destinations. For us, that's part of its charm—but it's worth planning ahead. We'll definitely be back to explore even more of this beautiful island.

Seems like a nice place.

Seems like a nice place. We were there Saturday through Tuesday but many businesses were closed Sunday and Monday. It's definitely the opposite of Destin/PCB when it comes to lots to do. If that's your thing, you'll like it.

We loved the location right on the beach.

We loved the location right on the beach. There is a nature preserve on the east end of the island that is beautiful. Restaurants in easy walking distance. We ate at the Blue Parrot, a few doors down from the motel. Food was excellent, great drinks and excellent service. We also ate at Paddy's Raw Bar. oysters, shrimp boyle, great crowd. The pool was well maintained. Very clean.

Great location!!

Great location!! Lots of great places to eat, especially if you love oysters!! Fun and lively atmosphere at every restaurant/bar we went to. Old small-town feeling. The local people working in the stores, shops, restaurants, and bars are super friendly! Lots of fun excursions, tours and attractions to experience. Very easy to get around via car, golf cart, bike, ebike, or just walk.

It had been several years since I had visited St.

It had been several years since I had visited St. George Island, and I really thought the island looked great. Love the laid-back atmosphere and limited commercial development. I hope to be back soon.

We loved the beaches at the state park.

We loved the beaches at the state park. We paid $6 for 2 people per day and this gave you access to beaches with nice covered pavilions and restroom facilities. The beach is wide and long and was not heavily populated while we were there. In the 2 days we stayed, we at 3 times at the Blue Parrot restaurant. It is right on the beach and you can eat on a covered deck facing the water.
