Breakfast was generous and available to us whenever we wanted it. Our hostess sowed us the secrets of our location and offered excellent restaurant and activities advise. Her thoughts saved us allot of time and effort. w will return as often as we can.

Lenox is one of the most inviting towns in the Berkshires and the beautifully restored Dr Sax House is a gem in its center. We arrived on the coldest day of winter to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but Brian and Kelly and their solicitous staff gave us the warmest welcome and most delightful stay we have had anywhere. I don't think we've ever encountered a bedroom and bathroom with so many thoughtful amenities: not just toiletries but everything you might have forgotten, not just a yoga mat but a gym bag filled with small weights and accessories. Their cozy restaurant Dulu is en suite with a beautifully appointed bar. The menu is imaginative and my baked halibut was the most delicious I have enjoyed - ever. With temperatures in the single digits it was a plus for us to be able to simply hang out at the Inn, but under balmier conditions all the artistic and culinary attractions that Lenox has to offer are right outside the door. It's also a perfect base for Tanglewood and many other local cultural activities. We look forward to our return soon!

My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve, and loved it so much that we extended our stay another night! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The rooms were comfortable and clean. You can buy some snacks and drinks at the reception and the food at the Indian restaurant was amazing!

The area attracts such interesting and kind people from all...

The area attracts such interesting and kind people from all over. If you don't want to look someone in the eye or say hello to strangers, not the place for you. We strolled the streets, went to the Shrine of Divine Mercy --gorgeous grounds with such a sense of grandeur of nature. We went to Norman Rockwell and loved the tour. A great balance of lolling around and learning a lot!

The only attraction for us was the Norman Rockwell Museum, and Main St, which Rockwell made famous. There are no real choices of dinning other than the Red Lion. No other night life, or attractions as it is pretty much in the middle of no where.

Stockbridge is charming, the Rockwell Museum and grounds are worth a trip. Good location to visit all of the Rte 7 Berkshires from the VT border to CT. Best food found in W.Stockbridge or Lenox and best shopping Great Barrington and The Mount, Botanical Gardens and Mt. Greylock summit were all highlights for us.

It's a beautiful old New England village with a lot of history. This is where Norman Rockwell lived and there is a museum nearby. There is a lot to see and do in the Berkshires. Highly recommend visiting.

We love Tanglewood which was the whole reason for our trip.

We love Tanglewood which was the whole reason for our trip. Alta is a great restaurant but we also enjoyed Firefly and the new brewery in town. The area is very easy to navigate. There are various musical venues to explore. The Ostrich room at the Apple Tree Inn was fun and the Berkshire Gardens has different music every Monday night. There is something for everyone in the area.

Charming town and area, but I visited in February when there was not much to do. I wasn't impressed with any of the restaurants either. It was easy to drive around but there was more traffic than what I would have expected.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast. Our host, Diane, was so welcoming and helpful and gave us great tips during our stay. The rooms were decorated nicely, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Initially, it was a bit warm in the room, but with the windows open, it cooled down as the evening progressed. The breakfast was tasty, and there were a number of choices. Thoroughly recommend Stockbridge Country Inn.

The hotel is unique. The main building is 18th century and it has worn well. There are interesting things to see in every corner. But the real star of the hotel is the staff, they are lovely.
