Room was great. Bathroom was outstanding. Large walk in shower and plenty of room for two getting ready in the morning. Everything was clean and well appointed. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and kind.

We stayed here because we had a 10:30am flight out of Anchorage and it was close enough for us to get to the airport, and far better than staying in some crummy Anchorage hotel. I was surprised at the cleanliness of the venue and how new it was. Sadly, we had little more than enough time to just sleep here and go. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. We did, however, enjoy some ice cream and a short walk to the lake before we retired.

Great location by the lake. Clean beautiful hotel, with free kayaks to use by the guests and a restaurant and coffee/pizza/ice cream shop on property. Many great hikes in the immedoate vicinity. Summit Creek trail is highlu recommended.
