Like the title says, this house has a truly Great Kitchen! It was clean, well stocked and had plenty of space. Great for a girls trip that we were on but would be perfect for a family with kids too! The host was the best of any place I have stayed. Communicative, thoughtful and kind. If I could give 20 starts I would!

The location was great, it was quiet and only took 10mins to drive into Bend. The hotel was super clean and the staff were very nice. The bar next door was a bonus to enjoy a light meal and have a quiet drink in the evening. This hotel is well within walking distance to Bend Water Park and walking distance to the grocery store. The 4th floor view I had of the mountains was beautiful.

I started as a child going to Sunriver with my family every...

I started as a child going to Sunriver with my family every 4th of July. Back than it was only a golf course with a under 21 club. It has become a family tradition. I now take my grandkids. In the last 55 years it has grown into a beautiful resort. There are so many things to do in and around Sunriver. Every year we canoe down the river, ride bikes to the village so the kids can visit the candy store. Get up early to ride the bikes down to the river and see how many animals we can spot. Get coffee and doughnuts for breasfast, spend the day at the High Desert Museum, walk the Lava River Caves. There is so much more to do there. 4 generations later, we still love to go there.

Great place for biking, walking, hikes further away as well, and small village offerings, pickleball, tennis, horseback riding, pools (although very crowded with kids in the summer). Crowded in the village also for summertime (long waits), but cooking at home on occasion at least is a way around this.

Sunriver has many activities for familys which is very nice.

Sunriver has many activities for familys which is very nice. I went into the visitor information center and it was very nice with many ideas and a very helpful person at the desk. Most all the activities we participated in were very fun and not hugely expensive. Love riding bikes on all the trails, we rented an e-bike and 2 regular bikes. We were glad we had sharc swimming pool passes for our day at the pool from our rental. Great stay all in all!

Sunriver is amazing and has something for everyone.

Sunriver is amazing and has something for everyone. Biking, hiking, swimming, skiing, shopping... the list goes on and on! Fun during every season and very relaxing. Bend is just 20 min North, with tons to see and do there as well. Central Oregon offers too much to list!

Seems like a place best for a family - not older folks. Our place was upstairs which we didn't know ahead. That was a major bummer. I have Parkinson's and my husband is 83. The stairs were very scary and tiring. The wood walkway doesn't feel safe - kind of wobbles when you walk and you can see below - the boards are too close together. 1/2 of the artwork worked with the forested area and the other 1/2 looked like fall in Vermont. More attempt to create a lodge-like feel would have been great. It was a bright, comfortable and clean place to rest so we had good basics. Oh. My husband slipped in the tub because there was no non-slip pad to stand on. Luckily there was a step ladder in the place so he put that in the shower to hang on to (no wall handles for safety) and he stood on a towel. Great ice cream place just across the parking lot but they could use more than 2 employees. Sunriver is a breeze to drive around.

We love Sunriver and especially when there is snow, and the...

We love Sunriver and especially when there is snow, and the weather cooperates, which of course no one can control. We love to walk all the pathways around the resort. This year was a bit more icy (black ice) than typical, making it more difficult to walk as much. Not sure if they could do more plowing or clearing off the ice, but that would be helpful.

We loved being a part of the Sunriver Resort property and all of the amenities available on property. It was great to have so many bicycles in the garage for our use. We enjoyed the hottub, playing ping pong and foosball. The bike trails are amazing and could easily ride to river activities, restaurants, bars, the pool, pickleball courts and convenience store. We would definitely choose to stay at this house again!

Great location. Close access to the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway which was beautiful. We also did an ATV forest tour from a nearby location. Included bike hire for the duration of the stay which were great for cycling around Sunriver area and down by the river. The property was on the ground floor, and had a patio that looked straight out onto a golf course, and pine trees.
