This place is a viper pit.

This place is a viper pit. They were not at all courteous or professional. My girlfriend forgot what room we were in and asked the front desk to help identify what number it was and then the counts told her that she needed to leave the property and called the equally despicable Tumwater Police. When I got down to the front desk from the room, they were slandering my girlfriend and telling me that she would need to leave the property instead of admitting that they had made a mistake by assuming she was not a guest. The police arrived and asked me to step outside with them and I complied. Because I simply asked them why I hadn't just called me to identify her, they asked the police to trespass me from the property. The police escorted me to the room to retrieve our property and then to the parking lot. This was apparently so that I could not inquire about a refund seeing that it was just before midnight. They are running an extortion racket with the police thugs being their muscle. I would not recommend booking a reservation at this hotel. The police use the parking lot to watch people and then harass them when shopping across the street. They look for people to pull over in that location and operate like a gang in a third world shit-hole. These people belong in jail and should not be operating a hotel or a lemonade stand for that matter. Stay at the LaQuinta just down the street for a better experience. Avoid this sham of a hospitality venue. I can't say enough as to just how bad the staff is, Adam was the only decent gentleman there and he should receive a promotion to manager. The rest of the staff who were there should be fired. I hope Adam takes his kind disposition to another establishment worthy of his good nature and that doesn't use him. If he was brought on to class this place up, it is only working as a deceptive decoy. The cancer needs to be removed first before any recovery is possible

Tumwater is a charming small town that i definitely...

Tumwater is a charming small town that i definitely recommend travelers to visit specially if you love history. Don’t forget to stop in Olympia and grab a bite of Sofies sweet ice cream home made. As well Vic’s pizza. Tumwater waterfall is cute and charming park.

The room was gross and smelt of musk.

The room was gross and smelt of musk. When we opened the window to let in some fresh air, all that came in was the smell of old grease, cigarette smoke and Marijuana smoke from employees that were smoking out the front door! There was no clock of any sort to know the time. The wall outlets didn't work properly (everything that was plugged in would hang out the outlet and eventually fall out). There were loud bangs all night long, the toilet would make a loud noise every 10-15 minutes. All of which would wake up my baby each time. There were also really sketchy people outside all night which made us feel as if our car wasn't safe. It was an awful experience and WAY too much money.

Hotel is located about 15 minutes drive from downtown Olympia. There are some shops, fast food and restaurants close by. Check in was quick with friendly staff. There is lots of parking on site and you can park your own car. Clean and modern hotel. I stayed here on two occasions the first time I had a queen room which was well equipped and very nice. The second time I booked the king room which was even better with desk, sofa and two TVs. Nice breakfast is included.

Really great breakfast in the morning, lots of variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful eating area/open floor plan. Swimming pool was quiet and easy access. Quiet doors! (didn't slam like other hotels so that those leaving early didn't wake others) Overall pretty quiet unless the people above you were exceptionally noisy (we had one night like this - think they were playing ball hockey). Terrific location.

The price; no extra charge to stay with my dog; no carpet in the room (carpet is what makes a hotel smell- I have allergies to smoke, some pet dander and other sensitivities, and disgusting stains). The staff were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable, which is very importatnt. Also, black out curtains to block the light- is good. grass to walk my dog around hotel.
