Tybee Island was refreshing.

Tybee Island was refreshing. The breakfast bar is excellent, you have to visit there if you plan to visit the Island. I love the beach, not clear blue water but it was clean and warm. I loved walking on the sand. I also visited downtown Savannah (30 mins drive) and that too was very interesting and memorable.

Only about a 20 minute drive or so to Savannah. It is one of the cleaner beaches I've been to and i loved how much they care about the wildlife there. Our favorite place to eat was Riptide Grill since its right there on the beach and reasonably priced. Some of our favorite activities was visiting the Marine Science Center and the climbing to the top of the Lighthouse. Make sure your camera or phone is charged. Ours wasn't so we missed out on a few photos. Another great place to eat is Jalapenos Authentic Mexican Restaurant and getting Leopold's Ice cream after in Savannah

Restaurant but they were high we never paid under 50 for food there it was my first and last time just wanted to see some different beaches. This one is marked off my list and will not visit there again.

Great beach for a family trip!

Great beach for a family trip! The beach was clean, beautiful, and very easy to access, which made everything so much more convenient. The public restrooms were also surprisingly clean—a huge plus. We were able to easily get a beach wheelchair for my mother-in-law, which helped tremendously and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. The pier was well maintained and added to the overall charm of the area. We also loved that the surrounding shops and restaurants were all within walking distance, with plenty of options available if you forgot something or needed a quick bite. The only minor downside was that the wheelchair had a slightly broken armrest, but it still worked well enough for our needs. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back!

Even though it rained during my visit to Tybee Island, the beach was still absolutely memorable. There’s something peaceful about watching the waves roll in under a gray sky, and Tybee delivered that quiet beauty perfectly. The sands were clean, soft, and inviting, and the shoreline felt untouched and serene. The rain didn’t take away from the experience at all—in fact, it added a calm, almost magical atmosphere. The waves were gorgeous, the beach was well‑kept, and the natural charm of Tybee still shined through. It’s a place that’s beautiful in any weather, and my rainy‑day visit proved just how special it really is.
