My stay was great.I would highly recommend this destination to everyone that wants a comfortable, affordable and friendly spot to go. The things I appreciated most was no extra fee for pets,a great variety for breakfast and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Upward is a great friendly town .

Upward is a great friendly town . It is near tons of shopping, restaurants, aquarium, and zoo, which were all just beautiful to visit and eat at. We especially loved the little town and the lodge on McMurray Road was beautiful and I had so much to offer there also. The lodge that we stayed at was very close to Pretty Place, Chapel in Cleveland South Carolina, which was breathtaking. We recommend anyone to go to upward North Carolina.

Another 2 days to visit restaurants + shops.. Swim in the hotel pool Flat Rock Playhouse ,,,Million Dollar Quartet was truly a totally awesome performance with an amazing cast of highly talented actors....

Everything!!!!!! The staff were friendly and attentive. The environment and grounds were beautiful. The hotel was rustic and cozy. The hotel in entirety was spotlessly clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having the kitchenette was handy and saved us quite a bit on our budget to cook and eat in our room. The heated pool was amazing and relaxing. My son has autism and he was ecstatic over swimming in the dark with just the light of the pool. I will definitely stay here again and again when traveling through.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The lobby is spacious with a high ceiling and comfortable chairs to relax in. There is pleasant, low-key jazz playing in the lobby, which adds to the upscale feel. The room was great, with a full size refrigerator and microwave and a cooktop. We were very happy with our visit and highly recommend the hotel to others.

What a gem! The nicest and cheapest hotel on our road trip through five states. Cozy and clean. It has everything you need including a great atmosphere. The extremely welcoming staff went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. Great location to explore the outdoors. Just loved it here!

We loved everything. We were highly impressed with the set up of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. There was so much outside living space to enjoy with outdoor couches and fire pits. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.
