United StatesThe girl at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very very clean. So many times hotel floors (whether it's tile, wood or carpet) look clean but there actually still dirty. When we arrived I kicked my shoes off and after awhile of walking in the room my white sox were still clean not dirty on the bottom. Definitely a plus!!! The room looked to be recently remodeled. I had read that freeway noise was a problem for some, that being said yes there was some freeway noise but not an issue for us.

Only stayed 2 separate nights enroute to & from LA airport, so haven't seen much of Victorville, but it looks nice & has plenty of places to eat & shop. All seems good & would like to spend more time there.

Only spent 1 night there, as we were en route to another state, so didn't really have time to look around. However, we have travelled through Victorville before and found it to be very pleasant and have plenty of shops, retaurants etc, We intend to return to Victorville at the end of the month and will explore more of the town then.

I only travel to Victorville to visit my family.
I only travel to Victorville to visit my family. The roads are a mess and getting around is difficult. I consider it a gas stop on the way to Vegas.
More recently lodgings have improved. Thank goodness for Comfort Suites.

It was perfect for one night.
It was perfect for one night. I wonder whether a longer stay would have reduced our happiness with the room. There were extensive renovations going on near the room and that may have caused a lot of noise if we had stayed during the day. Also, the room was small for the extra bed. Also the breakfsst was rather simple. We would have like some extras with the breakfast.

Not fond of Victorville. Way too much wind.
Not fond of Victorville. Way too much wind. Don't know if its like that all the time. Yet it and the other communities along Bear Valley Rd. are thriving like any other 'strip town' (all businesses seem located along Bear Valley Rd.) in the US. Plenty of shops of all kinds, not just the many gas stations and fast food places, but most anything you care to find. A bonus was a business that had an indoor track for RC cars and long rows of stations where you could build your own RC car--which of course is what they sold. That place alone might make Victorville a hobbyists paradise.
My reason for staying was the 3 day high power rocket launch in the Lucern Dry lake bed. They do the 3 day thing 2 times a year but every month, weather permitting we have a Saturday launch there. So I may be coming out every month for that event. It will be fun exploring the town occasionally when the wind isn't too bad. Plenty of motels, just make sure you see the ratings first. You will want to pay a descent price (not too cheap) and stay away from the ones next to I-15 if you want a room that is reasonably quiet. Most hotels are along Bear Valley Rd. so some noise is to be expected. Careful searching may a yield a hotel farther away from noise. Just don't go too cheap or you may regret it. A nice hotel in Victorville rewards the cost.

Not clean. Stains on rugs, pee on entry door. Safety locks and deadbolt locks broken. Bathroom drain full of debris and no stopper for sink. Broken toilet seat. Homeless people across the street. Drug dealers selling across the street.

Nice clean hotel in great location! Offered cookies and candy on check in which was a great touch.... also coffee, tea and lovely lemonade available 24/7 too.
