The home was beautiful, it was absolutely clean and neat, the grounds were lovely, the hosts were fantastic and so warm and welcoming, our room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious on both days that were there. They had a little hobby farm with adorable goats and mules. We had a wonderful time there and we will likely return.

Beautiful clean and safe town. Good selection of shops. Loved this typical American town. People respect where they live and each other. The gardens were kept beautifully and loved that smoking wasn't permitted in the park area. Lots of history in the town.

Wellsboro is a quaint little town.

Wellsboro is a quaint little town. The loved dining at The Steak House and Gaslight. Locals were very friendly. Our hiking/walking excursions at the Grand Canyon were great. We also got to watch their local homecoming parade from our hotel. Lots of school spirit!

Seems like a dainty little town.

Seems like a dainty little town. We had lunch at Los Agaves a Mexican restaurant on main street. The food was delicious. We were traveling between the star view observatory and PA Grand Canyon when we decided to stay close to this town.

Excellent little town , food at Beck's Bristol was great....

Excellent little town , food at Beck's Bristol was great....stop in try it out. Complimentary breakfast offered by hotel was great. Lady at visitors center was very helpful. The Penns Creek r/t was one of the best we've rode on our bikes. Everyone seemed pleasant. Will be back in near future.

A spectacular little town in the mountains with great hotels...

A spectacular little town in the mountains with great hotels, restaurants and a wonderful old, remodeled theater. Location to Pine Creek Rail Trail was ideal. The ice cream shop and the steak restaurant were two of our favorite stops.

The amenities are not all on site but available at a sister...

The amenities are not all on site but available at a sister hotel about 2 blocks away. That included the hot breakfast during our stay. Only choose this hotel if you appreciate historical buildings. It is steeped in history!

The beds and blankets were very comfortable. I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The pull out couch was also very comfortable. The room had lots of space and fit our needs perfectly. It was also very quiet. We didn't hear anything from the upper floors( we were on the 1st floor). The pool was clean and the provided towels were fresh and soft. The location was great with amenities right across the street(coffee shop, grocery store and pharmacy). Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast room and location is wonderful, food is about standard for a hotel breakfast, staff is very attentive. Beautiful rooms and architecture, great history through out the building, photos and paintings - a real sense of being somewhere historic.

Walking into the Penn Wells Hotel is like stepping back in time....Beautifully maintained building with original fixtures. Breakfast was nice but the same each day....All staff extremely friendly and helpful.
