Locations could not have been any better apartment was awesome very clean updated and very roomy just like being at home. Loved that it was right above Black Jacks restaurant absolutely love their wings. The hosts was great very accommodating super nice. Will definitely be staying again. Helen Williams

Not a lot going on in West Jefferson. Mt Jefferson state park is cool. Easy access to the New River and State parks along the river. Virginia and Tennessee are both nearby. Great rural scenery along the roads. 25 miles from Boone NC

We were there for a wedding at The Summit.

We were there for a wedding at The Summit. The venue was spectacular. The fall scenery was gorgeous. If visiting in the fall, pack for all weather. We had very warm, summer-like day, and the next was drizzly and cool. The temps drop at night and it can be windy up in the mountains.

A very nice historic community with friendly citizens and helpful locals. If you're looking for a place to go and you want some quality time with nature or enjoy meeting friendly people or just need to get away from a stressful nine to five ordinary life this is a great spot to enjoy some peace and quiet! It's not necessarily a tourist destination but you can find plenty of things to do especially if you enjoy being outdoors. There's some good restaurants nearby that offer wonderful portions and home cooked style meals. My favorite was a local Mexican restaurant that had truly authentic food prepared by a little lady who might not speak the best English but knows exactly how to communicate with my appetite! The portions of one meal were enough to feed me and my wife and still have leftovers for later!

I like how low key the city is, and that it is focused on...

I like how low key the city is, and that it is focused on enjoying nature and spending time outdoors. I hear there are some very nice places in the downtown area, too, but for me, it's the view of Mt. Jefferson and the lovely trails surrounding the New River! Recommend for a laid-back time outdoors!

Owner lady was very friendly and helpful.

Owner lady was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good. Cost is 65 dollars but ended up paying 100 dollars last minute. Sheer waste of money for the unleanliness and poor hygiene. Bed was dirty not made after previous guest was rumpled and dirty. Microwave was very dirty and sticky. Breakfast was very scarce just few packets of instant oats coffee hot water milk just a couple of bananas and oranges. Cleanliness should be improved.

Rest Assured was a spacious cabin which comfortably fit our family of 6. The views of the mountains were beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We are looking forward to staying at Rest Assured next time we are visiting West Jefferson. Thank you for a great stay!
