United StatesI like the location and being able to get up and run without having to travel anywhere im the car. The location was at the beginning of the road to a nice neighborhood with with a salt marsh at the end. I liked the ambiance of the building and room we were in. We were there to see the Thomas Dambo trolls and was a great location to do that.

Found it hard to get around, not enough signs for tourists. Cooked goose for best breakfast and lunch. Havershaw tavern best for dinner.
Beaches great, Ninigret park for kids and adults. Find the trolls.

Nice town like the river setting and restaurants on the river... clean and shops were cute with interesting itims to purchase. Live the beach misquamucut is the crown attraction in westerly. Must visit. But weekends in summer are crazy crowded. Go early to get parking like 8 9 am. Once in the lot you can go to all attractions by walking down atlantic ave. Love the beach community!!!!!

Very pleasant staff, comfortable room, shower, etc. Liked having coffee maker, microwave, freezer and refrigerator in room. Good size pool and bar-b-que area. Good places to eat within a 5-15 minute drive.

Shopping along the strip was very good!
Shopping along the strip was very good! “Maggie’s”, a shop right in the Pleasant View Inn was our favorite! Also shopped at “Jules” and “Alfies”
Other restaurants…Andreas and Maria’s were very good. Even the hot dog at the little spot next to Jules ( mostly an ice cream spot) hit the spot!

We spent our time at Watch Hill and Ocean House.
We spent our time at Watch Hill and Ocean House. Watch Hill and Napa Point are great for walking, exploring the shops, and Sift Bakery has great coffee and pastries. Walking in the salt water as the waves came in along the sandy shores at Watch Hill was relaxing. On a breezy day when the tide is coming in, Ocean House veranda is comfortable for a light lunch. Watch the croquet players and, if you have the inclination, talk with the Ocean House pro and take a lesson - it's not your backyard croquet.

Underwhelming. Decent but nothing special.
Underwhelming. Decent but nothing special. Location was good. Room dreary. No view. Like a motel you’d stay in in a pinch. Breakfast pitiful. Coffee mediocre. Would not stay again. Nothing really wrong with it but nothing special or particularly nice. Clean, though. Bed not very comfortable with rubber mattress pad that crinkled all night. Ho hum.

Really comfortable and well appointed property. We settled in really quickly and appreciated the owners attention to detail and in making sure guests are very well catered for. Westerly is an interesting town with some wonderful beaches and good restaurants. The Rest in Westerly felt like a home from home.
