The accommodation on a last minute notice (sorry by the way) I was so amazed thank you so much for a great vacation home for our family it was a memory for the books as my daughter put it. LatviaAlmost everything, especially the host. I can't be more thankful for all the help and support we've got. They even kept our things we were no able to pick up 2 years ago. Such a wonderful place and person. The location is perfect right across the street from Kern river. Perfect spot if you are interested in day hikes, rafting or similar.

Bed was very comfortable. Wi-fi and Smart-tv worked great.
Bed was very comfortable. Wi-fi and Smart-tv worked great. The road to get to the hotel is beautiful, although it is a bit dangerous -- it's like climbing the mountain with your car. It is also a bit far from the Sequoia National Park, so be aware.
Bathroom was clean and check-out was very easy to do.

The room was awesome! We stayed in room E. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. They have bigger rooms to accommodate more guest! We will definitely book again! The tips provided by the host were helpful!

Quiet and unassuming little village.
Quiet and unassuming little village. We needed to grab a bite and so headed up to Harry’s Bar. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed. However, the bar service was friendly and inexpensive. We had a pint of craft beer, a shot of Don Julio Reposado Tequila and an ice tea….the total check, $13! We thought it was a mistake, it wasn’t! Great little bar!

This is a truly unique property, not a luxury resort but a charming, upgraded house. Host Kris is very conscientious, providing every creature comfort in a spotlessly clean environment. Just be careful not to leave food out to avoid ants or critters. We plan to return and use the barbecue next time. The panoramic, spectacular views are breathtaking. Kris’s amazing personality shines through in this place. It’s approximately 30 minutes from Kernville and about an hour to the Sequoias.

Its a 3 story house with either beds or a pull out couch on each floor.
You can sleep way more then 5 people in there.
1x bathroom has a bathtub for kids and the upstairs has a shower.
The beds are very comfortable and my whole family slept great. If you want a house in the mountains thay priced similar(or better) then local hotels. Stay here.
Its got the cabin feel...with a large amount of space

It is a great place! Clean, comfortable and well located. Market right next door, Kernville and Lake Isabella only minutes away. We had a group of 15 and loved that we were able to split up among the rooms, but enjoy the lobby area for games and eating. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative.

Only hotel that was available with two queen beds over Labor Day weekend. Good location/easy to find. Plenty of parking. Bathroom tile was redone. Kitchen with fridge and sink.
