United StatesI loved how friendly the two desk ladies were when I walked in looking like a lost little puppy. They made checking in super easy and fast. They also have full conversations about everyday things, not just stuff involving the hotel. I also loved my room with the jacuzzi tub, the bed was super soft and comfortable and not a lot of noise to bother you during your stay.

Property was rundown, only 2 places were "walkable to" and...
Property was rundown, only 2 places were "walkable to" and you had to cross a highway to get to 1 of them. They were replacing carpet squares while other areas were just plain concrete with nasty dried old glue showing. Vending machines only took your card so they could charge an extra fee.

There are several things to like about York.
There are several things to like about York. We have several good friends that live there so we go often. Easy to get to right beside I-80 and York is easy to get around in. There is every type of Restuarant you could ever want and reasonable prices.

It was nice the having a restaurant in the hotel but the service was very slow and they didn't have enough staff to be able to provide seating at all the tables. York is a cute small town. I wish we would have had more time to explore all the small shops in the town square.

York, NE was where I went to college in 1999-2003.
York, NE was where I went to college in 1999-2003. It was good to be back to visit the city and the college for the 20th reunion. I like the town as it is peaceful and fun and has things to do if you search out the right things. Chances R is a restaurant that is a must to go and visit. York University is also a place to go visit to see the Museum in the basement of the Mackey Center.

The room I stayed in was on the ground floor, the room was clean and good condition. The fridge worked well (Froze water bottles in the freezer overnight). I did not stay for breakfast or try any other of the facilities as I was on a road trip and just stayed overnight and got back on the road. The room door locked and felt secure, however the external door to the hallway did not lock. The parking lot was well lit and the hotel is next to some fast food places to eat and some gas stations. I would stay there again.

York is a very nice town.
York is a very nice town. Spent some time there conducting family research on some family members who moved west from Morgan County Ohio in the mid 1800's. Clean town, nice helpful people there, easy to get around the town.

The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled. Although the remodel was modest, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, especially for overnight travelers. Particularly helpful to tired travelers was the fact that the hotel has an Applebees inside that closes late at night, so you don’t have to drive anywhere for food.

After checking the Google reviews we wondered what the hotel would be like.
Our room had recently been decorated, the beds were spotless and the bathroom was clean with a good shower.
The breakfast room was clean and tidy with a reasonable breakfast, nothing special but all OK.
When you consider we paid 70$ it was excelent value.

Even though the price was low, the hotel was in such bad shape, unclean and unsafe it wasn't worth it. The shower, toilet and sink worked and there was a working fridge. There was a microwave but we didn't use it so not sure if it work worked.
